HF 2 ton foldable engine hoist
Used this to replace the hook on my HF 2 ton foldable engine hoist. Works great! It is slightly longer than the original hook, so it will reduce the lift height by maybe 3 or four inches. In my case, using it to lift jetskis off of a DIY jetski dolly made it very close to max height. The rigging has very long straps, so every inch counts. The ability to swivel has made the task much easier.

Big and sturdy
Got the 11 ton. Big and sturdy swivel hook. It has a nice finish to it and has all the various markings you want stamped for reference including WLL11T (for Working Load Limit 11 Tons), and 1 1/18 for the swivel eye size. Also CE marking and DSL which is the manufacturer's mark. Overall, a pretty nice heavy duty hook.

Super heavy duty swivel hook, not a locking hook
I got the 2T size, It is super heavy duty and probably a little overkill for my needs. My only issue is that it is not a locking hook but whether taht matters to you depends on how it will be used. It seems really solid and well made and I like the industrial look with my gym equipment. I use it to help hang my suspended TRX exercise system. The swivel hook weighs about 2.5 pounds and is large and chunky. I was able to attach it to the TRX ceiling anchor using a super heavy duty locking carabiner. I could not attach the swivelhook directly to the anchor (which is securely attached to a structural ceiling beam) because the swivel anchor is too chunky to attach properly to the particular anchor I am using. The caribiner is locking but the swivel hook is not but that should not be a problem for me.

It's a big, heavy hook.
I usually like to test products to see if they stand up to stated limits. I'm making an exception for this hook; I'd rather NOT be around if this one fails. What you need to know is that it's red and shiny, that the loop at the top is 1 1/4" in diameter, and that the narrowest part of the hook opening is 1 15/16" wide. The 11 ton rating isn't stamped or cast anywhere on the hook, so don't go forgetting and try to lift 12 tons, ya hear?
