Perfect timers for when you play games and the baby/babies are sleeping. You don't want to wake the kids up because of a loud annoying tick tock kind of timer. Each timer is for a different time; one minute, two minute, three minute, and five minute. Of course, one of the players has to be assigned to watching the timer. They work well and the kids don't wake up! They are built well, and easy to use.

I got these for my studio because I was tired of cleaning paint off of my timer. The plastic is easy to grab, and easy to clean. They've held up to my rough treatment, so they're durable lol. I did tune them and they are accurate enough for my purposes.

Although this is not an accurate timer, I’m deciding to give this a 5 star review because it is a good deal. With this timer, you have paid for a 5 minute timer but the manufacturer was nice enough to add 10 seconds. It is a 5 minute and 10 second timer. See the attached photos for when I timed the timer. I also had each timer compete against each other in a race. There was one that may have been a 5 minute and 15 second timer and that one finished last. I performed these tests on a completely level surface (see the picture of the level in the background) so there was no gradient error. I also controlled for different pressure systems by performing this test in my living room. there could not have been wind. Some may point out the the electronic timer I timed the timers on may not keep accurate time. The manufacturer of the electronic timer is Apple. They are a good company but there is no way to know which timer is accurate. I would recommend taking advantage of this deal.

All of these timers are great. I bought them to use for Dungeons and Dragons, and the 5 minute timer tends to get stuck regularly. Maybe I got a defective one? The other three in the set work well. (as well as the 90 second timers I also bought). The low price coupled with the amount of space they take made this an instant purchase for me since I already have enough screens in my set up to operate. The colors also make it very easy to figure out which one is which at a glance.I highly recommend them, just be wary of the longer duration timers. I suspect the sand gets stuck due to how thin the tunnel is for them, as it's visually apparent when compared between the different durations. The failure of the 5 minute timer is not a deal breaker for me as I rarely use it.I tested them against a digital stopwatch as well. There's a fair amount of variance, but for what I'm doing it gets the job done. Can't be too picky about exactness of a 1-2 dollar hourglass though.

Would purchase this product again.

Mine all came close to 90 seconds (even though the description mentions it might not be exact). This was perfect for what I needed. Doing Muscle Releases as taught in the book "Do It Yourself Back Pain Relief In 90 Seconds: The Pain Free Approach to Resetting the Nervous System and Releasing Muscle...Do It Yourself Back Pain Relief In 90 Seconds" and holding them for 90 second intervals. Much easier than grabbing my phone and setting a timer each time plus easier if I'm a call or have the TV on (since there is not a noise of the phone timer to detail with when using these).

These sand timers have definitely come in handy for me around the house. I ordered one combo pack which came with four different sand timers. Each one is 3.5” tall and the base is 1” wide. The four sand timers include: one minute timer in red, two minute timer in blue, three minute timer in yellow, and five minute timer on green. After testing, all timers were accurate. I love that the timers have the minute(s) on both sides. This set also includes a small brochure which gives some different school activities.I mainly purchased this set for the five minute timer. I needed something for the shower to help time a hair treatment that I use. I have to leave on my treatment for five minutes. I tried to keep a count in my head but it just wasn’t working so well. So I decided to search for a timer. I originally thought of a digital timer but I came across some problems like needing a battery, making sure it was waterproof, and how it needed to be hung in the shower. While searching for a timer I came across sand timers and thought this would be so much easier to handle and much cheaper. I was afraid that the sand may eventually get hard and stop working properly when leaving it in the shower. However, after three months of sitting in the shower, I haven’t had any problems at all. I’m very happy that I decided to get this set of sand timers.

As a former teacher and now aunt/frequent babysitter I love these timers! They have been so helpful in getting kiddos to clean up quickly, share toys, sit and quietly read books, etc. The kids love it too and often ask me to put the timer on for them. I bought the set of four but wish I got the larger set as I had no idea how incredibly helpful these would be. The price is great too and the quality seems pretty good overall. However the other day I went to use the two minute timer and the sand had fallen out of the hourglass and now is sitting in the outer tube. I've only had the timers for a few weeks. I'm hoping it was just a defective one and that the others don't break too. So just a word of caution. I don't let the kiddos touch them and. I handle them carefully so be aware that they may not be able to handle kids using them if one broke just with me using it. If I could find an email, I would request a replacement as I don't want to buy just one timer and two minutes is a really helpful one.
