Didn’t work
This item didn’t work, I ended up having to return it. It fit into my iPhone shuffle, but it just didn’t accept a cord to be able to charge it. I will either have to pray to the Apple gods that nothing happens to my current charging cable, or keep wasting time and money buying new cables, testing them, and possibly returning them.

Just buy a 30 pin cord
This adapter seemed to work for charging, although it is very picky on which cord it likes. But I was completely unable to sync my ipod to my computer. Got a dedicated 30 pin cord and it fixed the issue.
