Great buy!! Stays cold, and budget friendly!
This was a great buy. Don't let the price deter you! We have a Permeade Relief Cap that we've used for years, and it is superior to all others we've browsed because it has a velcro closure, meaning you can adjust the width. Researching all the available ones online with top reviews, we chose this one over the TheraIce name brand to try it out, and it did not disappoint. Bought 4 to gift family members too. This one stays cold much longer than the Permeade 20 mins, at least double the time, before it starts to warm up, even if subject to fever warm temperatures. It's best to have 2 of these guys at home, so you can swap out when one warms up. We leave both in the freezer at all times, and have never tried microwaving these. Thickness is good, gel seems evenly distributed, and material isn't weird. Also no issues with smell right out the bag, and didn't have to air it out prior to using. Just remember to always keep them stored in the storage bag in the freezer so they are less likely to absorb any freezer food smells.

Works
I genuinely appreciate the functionality of this product. As someone who suffers from migraines, I find that the cold compression it provides is incredibly effective. The gel-like interior can get impressively cold, even if it starts at room temperature. While it might feel a bit on the heavy side, once I have it on, I hardly notice it. The design is wonderfully user-friendly—simply open the velcro strap at the back, or effortlessly slide it on. The material is silky smooth, ensuring it glides over my hair without snagging, and it feels luxuriously soft against my skin.I also appreciate that there is virtually no odor, which is a nice touch. I had previously purchased a similar product but unfortunately ruined it by accidentally tossing it in the washer. A word of caution: do not wash this item!

Calming and cooling for sensory overload
I recieved one as a stocking stuffer from hubby, I put it on and just melted into the cozy zone. It feels so good. It cools your face and head down and feels like a soft gentle hug. I instantly ordered 4 more for gifts for my daughter and friends.

Ice plus a little pressure plus darkness - perfect
This cap is almost too cold from the freezer ... if frozen I let it thaw a min ... out of fridge it is cold and soothing but of course doesn't stay cold as long as frozen . The fact my long hair can ponytail out of the top is a huge help keeping the cap on and hair out of the way .. the fact that this is a black out mask is amazing . And I love the slight stretchy pressure when it is pulled down over my eyes .. I got two to switch out . I have been a long time headache person using all kinds of ice packs and these are a win !!

Nice Cap!
This is the perfect cap for a headache or red and puffy eyes. It was cool enough for me at room temp, so I didn’t put it in the fridge or anything- it stayed cool while I slept and it stayed on okay. I think I woke up and took it off, but otherwise it worked nicely. It’s very tight to the head and it gives a consistent pressure all over which is really nice. I plan on using it when I have a headache again. Hopefully it will help!

Good one
It’s a good quality. Fabric is nice and smooth on skin, doesn’t stay cool more than 45 minutes.. might work for some people.. but for my tension headache didn’t do much

love it so much i bought another one to rotate it
I like to wear it to bed, love the amount of compression I feel when I sleep with it and it soothes me. I haven't had any cases of it falling down my face (what are you doing to make that happen???) or getting stuck on me. I use both of mine for a cold compress, I recommend you have another one dedicated for heat use. The cold packs work well on my nasty eye-based migraines and the compression helps me sleep since they stick around for some days to a week.I have learned some tricks from my use of it these couple of months or so of using it.1. Avoid leaving it in the freezer unless it's for 10-20 min. Keep it/leave it in the fridge. Mine live in the fridge until I need them again. The freezer is too cold and it's uncomfortable to wear unless you let it sit out for 10-20min. When I'm using mine I take it out of the fridge right before bed and toss it on my pillow for a few min before I join it.2. When you use it for cold compress for extended periods or at bedtime you should use a slightly thicker eye cream. After a week or two I had scaly/flakey skin around my eye area just above the eyelids. I Dr. Googled it and saw it was cold dermatitis or cold urticaria. I started using a thicker, slightly balmier cream around my eyes and the flakey/dry skin healed after 2 days.3. Clean it very gently every single use. I have used 91% rubbing alcohol and I have used soap (Dawn) and water to clean it. Make sure to rinse it a lot if you use soap and water because it keeps suds. Make sure not to pull on the fabric, it is very elastic and can stretch out too much.Overall a great product for $10
