I love this table to so much. It looks great in my dining area. It will bubble if you leave water on it for too long, but the bubbles disappeared after it dried out.Just make sure to wipe the table for any spilled beverages, use coasters or placemats. I might put a light varnish for extra protection for the table.Other than that highly recommend. Great looking table for the price and the extendable feature is easyUpdate: This table will not last you, even with the varnish it made the table look worse; water gets soaked in- the only thing you can probably really do is put a plastic cover on it :(

The Best Choice Products Extendable Dining Table has been a wonderful addition to my home. Its extendable feature provides much-needed flexibility, allowing me to accommodate both intimate family dinners and larger gatherings with ease. The construction feels sturdy, instilling confidence in its durability. Assembly was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear instructions provided. While it's not without its minor flaws, such as occasional wobbling when fully extended, overall, it's a fantastic dining table that offers excellent value for the price

Assembly was pretty easy; one side I received had no holes on it so we had to make it ourselves. We tried to assemble all three without installing the rectractable bar, but as soon as we put it upright, it snapped in the middle and the snaps that hold the pieces together broke. We ended up installing the retractable bar at the end and it seems sturdy enough.

This product got mixed reviews so I was a bit worried about the quality due to the great price point. The topper is great and it's hard to tell that it's manufactured wood. The natural oak almost looks like a butcher block, but from the feel of it I can tell that we'd need to be careful when using it daily by using mats and coasters.It took us less than an hour to assemble the table and everything was very intuitive. Happy with my purchase for now! Hopefully it lasts at least several years .

DO NOT BUY. I had a poor experience with this. I was hoping to have a table that would last me for years. This product only has a 60 day warranty (after reaching out to seller). This product only lasted me 9 months. The table says it can withstand up to 130lbs but it broke after putting 70lbs. I put a pack of 40 water bottles and a pack of 35 coke cans on top. As soon as I put the last pack on top the table collapsed. 2 of the legs ripped the screws from the bottom. I am very disappointed as I wasted over $170 for this table including taxes. This is poor quality and is falsely advertised. Maybe I had a defective table or maybe it is the design. If you do buy then do not put anything heavy on top besides your dinner plate. I will not be buying product from this company in the future.

The Good: this table is sturdy. It's made of three wood blocks mounted on four robust legs. You can remove the middle block if you don't want a shorter tabletop, and add it back in via a latching mechanism for when you need to extend it. This is super handy for small spaces. The table is also super easy to put together; I, a 27-year-old petite girl with no prior furniture assembly experience was able to follow the instructions and screw the legs to the table with no problems.The Bad: the immediately obvious drawback was the legs. They extend outward from the centre of the table in a 'V' shape instead of being perfectly vertical. It's a neat design-choice that sets it apart from other tables but what it means is that when the table is NOT extended, there is only enough room between the legs to fit a SINGLE chair. No way are you getting two chairs in there. I thought about having chairs just sit outside of the legs, but it was way too weird and took up too much room in our already-small living/dining room. So really the 'space-saving' quality of being extendable isn't really space-saving unless you only plan to have one chair on each side of the table. We ended up just keep the extension piece in permanently. The other bad thing is that when it wasn't extended, there was a VERY obvious lip (another reviewer mentioned this) where the wood pieces come together and it looks bad. It drove me mad to see the lip. Keeping the extension piece in solved this a bit, it made it less noticeable even though it still wasn't perfect.The Ugly: after two weeks of having this table, we realized it was NOT meant to be treated like any other kitchen table. The wood top is actually a STICKER and it bubbled up and peeled away revealing the raw "wood" underneath, leaving us with an unsightly peeling hole on our table. The hole has rolled white edges that really stand out and can't be trimmed or smoothed down. The table also quickly suffered from a very deep grease stain that didn't come out. It seems to be too porous and not actually waterproof or heatproof. We ended up contacting Amazon and getting a refund, but in the meantime have bought waterproof wood contact paper and stuck it on to hide the bubbles and protect the table until we are ready to replace it.
