I use drafting/architectural tools to create concrete poetry -- poems that appear on the page as shapes.For a recent project I needed longer rulers -- mine topped out at 18". I saw this, and the combination of centered measuring and the metal construction sold me.When I opened it, I was SO impressed! Extremely sturdy, accurate, and easy to read. The craftsmanship is worth the money, and I'll be getting other sizes as well!

I had a gift card from my birthday and I decided to try out Woodpeckers as I had heard so many good thing about them and the quality of their measuring tools. I would not normally pay these high prices unless I knew the products would be best quality. So with the gift card, I had less risk.I received the ruler and right out of the box, it was terrific looking and the precision of the markings looked very good. Unfortunately, when I took at look at the ends, it looked like the cut the ruler from a longer extrustion but forgot to polish afterward. Very disappointing since they have such a reputation for quality.So, I reached out to them and sent some pictures. No further discussion, no questioning what I had sent, they asked for my address and I had a replacement within a couple of days. The replacement was, well weird to say about a tool, but it was beautiful. This is the craftmanship I expected.I am now a fan of Woodpeckers and will be seeking to purchase more of their high quality items.Go get a ruler and measure beautifully!

Based on the architect rule, this is one of the most useful rules I have purchased. It’s probably the last in a line of rulers I’ve purchased but, it is maybe the most versatile. Flip it right to left and get a right to left or left to right reading. Metric or Imperial, including center finding rules, this has it all.I will not try to sell you on it. People have their own needs in measuring. But, for me, I think this one belongs on the bench with others. By the way, a little more pricey but really cool products, Woodpecker is doing a great job keeping the brand “ made in the USA” in the spectrum. Thank you.

Great product

Excellent workmanship. Precise and easy to read. I rated it four stars because three from six measurements are in metric scale. I'm using only imperial inches scale so half of the tool is completely useless for me. Only imperial scale one would be perfect.
