Works great for applications where you want to cut the power with a switch instead of constantly plugging in / unplugging items! Safer too. I needed the switch for my porch lights - it was such a pain to plug in and unplug into a covered outlet when I wanted them on or off. So easy now with the switch!

Just plug it in and it works fine. Very handy item to have in my workshop for controlling multiple lights or outlets.

Great product, small led is a great design feature. Message to device manufacturer. Should make a daul version.

These work fine. The only complaint would be that it is too wide. Can’t put side by side on a power strip.

I bought a couple of short run 3-prong extension cables to go along with these, allowing a handy switch for long term installation items which otherwise need to be turned on or off by plugging in each time.These work as expected. The blue indicator light in my case isn't necessary, (for lamps it is obvious when it is on or off), but I can see their application for silent-running devices.In either case, these little switches have proven to be an effective and welcome solution. Long term reliability hasn't been tested for my part as I've only had them installed for a couple of weeks, but based on the solid plastic construction, I can see them lasting a long time.Do get these ones however, over the cheaper knock offs which look similar; when it comes to high draw devices, you want switches with adequate ratings and proper construction. Some of the cheaper ones appear to melt and catch fire. Risking a house fire just to save a couple of bucks isn't smart.

Purchased this for a lamp that didn’t have a switch. It works. Can’t vouch for the surge protection.
