WiFi Hygrometer Thermometer Sensor: Smart Temperature Humidity Monitor, with Remote Monitor and TUYA APP Notification Alert, High Precision Indoor Thermometer No Hub Required, Work with Alexa (1-Pack)

I'm about to leave town on business, and there's a winter storm forecast that means my house will freeze up while I'm gone. I had busted pipes before, and that was just when I was out for my local 9-5. I'll be out for 10 days now and really do not want to come home to busted pipes.Been testing these sensor for a few days now... remote access is just fine. Going to hook up heaters to remote plugs and monitor that I can start heaters remotely if temps get too low. Description says they can "automate" this, but honestly, if I know the temps and the forecast, I should just run the heaters (different smart plugs)... as long as I have a general idea, I'll be OK.

I love the small size of the temperature and humidity sensor! It can sit and stay relatively hidden if desired. I received a sticker to stick the unit to a surface but wish there would have been nail holes in the back for the convenience of hanging the sensor in the garage. I was able to find a tiny nail that fit into one of the small holes in the back of the sensor, and it does not seem to have interfered with the sensor's performance. I was looking for a sensor I could place in my garage to monitor the temperature for my animals while I am away. Many of the sensors I saw on Amazon were bluetooth only, but I wanted something that I could use through an app when I was away from home and out of bluetooth range. This wifi sensor works great for my needs! The app was easy to install. I had to change the settings from Celsius to Fahrenheit in the app, which was easy to do. The app is basic. It shows the sensor temperature, humidity, temperature and humidity history over the past 6 hours, an area for smart scenes you can purchase, and a settings area. It appears you can receive alarms for temperatures outside of ranges you set and a low battery alert without additional charge. The other scenes I looked at all required additional costs or subscriptions. I set the sensor near the existing thermometer I have been using, and the temperatures match, so the sensor is accurate. I have not had any wifi connectivity issues since beginning to use the sensor and app. The sensor uses 2AA batteries, which are easy to install in the unit. The photos on the product order page are accurate, and I received the product promptly in working order.

It worked great to check that my home stayed warm in sub zero temps.

Not real time monitoring. False advertising. Buy a different unit if you want to really monitor temp and humidity in a timely manner. I was going to use these to monitor my generator quietbox for overtemp, but these units only give results once an hour.

I love this device. It's hard to find sensors that can run routines based off temperature. This would be flawless but it keeps popping offline, sometimes 2 hrs, sometimes 2 days. Therefore, this is not working to control my greenhouse. And the app doesn't tell me the sensor lost connection so I don't have a heads up that things aren't right. I really want to like it, but the connection is an issue.

Got these little sensors in our well house, chicken coop and shop building -- and still one to spare. So far 100% reliable, and not too much trouble to set up. The app is fairly basic, but it does what I need of it.

For a monitor that will give you an Alexa temperature reading request and response the price is not bad. However, despite the advertising and instructions when asking Alexa for humidity the response is "that's not supported." The review that said readings are not in real time and only hourly is incorrect--the historical data points are hourly, but readings on the App and or through Alexa are on-demand and in real-time.

Heute den 4er Pack erhalten und installiert. Mein erster Eindruck:Solides Produkt, sehr kompakt verpackt, einfachst zu installieren. Die Sensoren sind schön klein und funktionieren mit normalen AAA (Micro, LR-03) Batterien, die auch beigelegt sind.Das Installieren in der Smart Life App könnte nicht einfacher sein (musste nicht einmal eine Bedienungsanleitung lesen hierfür): Batterie einlegen, in der Smart Life App auf den Plus-Knopf drücken, "Add Device" wählen. Findet den Sensor sofort (der Einfachheit halber empfehle ich, einen nach dem anderen zu erledigen und nicht gleich alle 4 mit Batterien zu versehen). An das WLAN anbinden, dann noch einen Namen vergeben (sonst werden sie aber auch durchgezählt, das ist sehr angenehm). Und schon zeigen sie Temperatur und Luftfeuchte an.Ich habe erst einmal alle 4 nebeneinander gelegt und sie zeigen innerhalb von 0,8 Grad dieselbe Temperatur und innerhalb von 2% dieselbe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Das erfüllt meine Erwartungen.Ich werde zu meinen Erfahrungen bzgl. Tauglichkeit bei kalten Temperaturen (draußen, regengeschützt) und Batteriehaltedauer noch berichten.Insgesamt bin ich bisher für weniger als €9 pro Sensor im 4er Pack sehr begeistert und kann das Produkt nur wärmstens empfehlen!
