Works
Made in china. can't give 5 stars due to that fact. However, runs well. I have a Makita at my work, (this one is for home use), and it compares very well. I'm sure the bits that were included won't last long, but I bought it for the router not the bits, so that is not a concern. All in all, pretty good for the cost.

Absolute garbage. It's sad.
So I am came unboxed well. It was in a box but everything was actually inside of the shipping bag from Amazon. The guide is broken. Missing parts. You don't get exactly what you say you are getting in the package. This is going back to Amazon ASAP. I can't believe something this bad. And this thing sounds like the motor is going to die. Turn it on for the first time. Absolutely blew my mind how cheaply built this thing is. Do not buy this product. Do not buy this product. I am one of the most unhappy buyers. This thing is not worth buying. Spend an extra 10 15.00.

Works for a beginner like me
As a beginner in woodworking, I recently took the plunge into purchasing the 1.25HP Wood Router Tool, and I must say, it's been a great investment so far. Here are the highlights of my experience:Perfect Starter Tool: This router is an ideal entry-level option for beginners like myself. The instructions were clear, and I found it easy to get started right out of the box. It's intuitive to use, which helped alleviate any initial intimidation I had about using a wood router.Solid Quality: The build quality of this router is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-made, which instills confidence, especially for someone just starting to explore woodworking. I appreciate that it doesn't feel flimsy or cheaply constructed.Versatile Speed Settings: The ability to adjust the speed of the router is a definite plus. It allows for greater control, especially when working on different types of wood or with various router bits. As a beginner, having this flexibility has been invaluable in honing my skills.Comprehensive Set: The inclusion of 12 wood router bits and a portable bag is a nice bonus. It's convenient to have a variety of bits on hand to tackle different projects, and the bag makes storage and transport a breeze.Looking ahead, I'm excited about the potential this router offers for future projects around the house. While I've only scratched the surface of its capabilities, I can already see it becoming an essential tool in my woodworking arsenal. Overall, a solid choice for beginners and hobbyists alike.

Nice little tool.
This is a good little router that is very handy to use on light jobs. The build feels very solid and it cuts wood like butter. I makes plaques and I use this router to trim the edges. This router has plenty of power and adjustable speed. I haven't experienced any splintering or chipping so far because the bits that come with it are pretty good. This router is a nice addition to my toolbox.

Great value
I ordered some pre-cut molding for a picture frame for a large painting, 60" tall. After a final stretching of the painting, which expanded its size, I found it was a little too large to fit in my pre-cut frame. I had three options: order new molding (which would be over $200 ), pull out the hundreds of staples and re-stretch the canvas on the stretcher bars (which could easily damage the painting), or buy an inexpensive compact router and expand the size of the picture the frame would fit by cutting away in the back of the frame. The third option made the most sense and this little tool handled the job easily. It was small enough to reach into the corners by removing the base and using it like a heavy duty Dremel Tool. I can see that this will come in handy for future frame building. The only reason I knocked it down 1 star was because some of the adjustment knobs and parts are a little cheap and I can imagine them failing after some time.
