We have package lockers outside some of our rental homes, and when we first built these lockers, we installed a simple hasp and put an inexpensive small combo lock on it (see second photo). We assumed that would stop porch pirates, since they wouldn't be able to see if a package was there, and just move on to an easier target. But apparently the crooks in our area felt the package lockers were too much temptation - we had one come with a bolt cutter and snip off the lock, and another picked up a rock and smashed at the lock and hasp until it broke open. In both cases there was nothing inside - but clearly this was something we needed to re-think.What is great about this lock is the only way to get to the screws is by opening the lock. They are hidden behind the clasp. It's also has a very nice heavy duty feel to it. When you turn the knob is has a satisfying click that feels very solid. It's a combo lock when you can easily change the combination - which is great since we will do that whenever the tenants change. We also purchased special screws for the outside hinges on the door that require a special drill head for removal. 🤞 this stops future issues!

This little “slap lock” is perfect for a clean look and functional design.It IS however really only a simple shed doors or a as storage cabinet lock.With nothing worth over $50 stored.Don’t expect this to stop anyone with a claw tool or hammer.

This lock was easy to install on my double door (ban type) shed. The lock code was easy to set up and it fits and works perfectly. Definitely a great lock to buy for your your shed!

Work's very well, great quality, easy to use & reset if need be

Although I found out Walmart sells something very similar to these in quality and size, I bought these to install on a guitar case. They're tough, good quality, thick metal, you can use the screws included or use rivets like I'm doing.Highly recommend on a toolbox or guitar case or something. Not sure I'd lock a shed with them but they are pretty solid. Can't beat them for the price. These are worth more for sure.
