The item in question has not been used due to the fact that it took three, it will be delivered late statements from you, and one complaint from the customer, me. The item seems to be in fine working condition.

Good price point item
This is a good block and tackle for small jobs. The rope is a bit flimsy but more than adequate for moderate work. I recommend this tool for non commercial use

Works great
Great back saver and no more calling the guy next door to help.

Great Block and Tackle
I replaced a two pulley version with this one for use in lifting a very large Staghorn fern. This a great set, especially for the price. It made it much easier and the softer rope that comes with it made it easier to pull.

Lots of sharp edges
Stamped sheetmetal sides should have been tumbled to remove sharp edges that might fray your rope. When there is slack in between the two pully assemblies the ropes jump off their pulley grooves. Had to install swivel eye in frame above to hang upper hook. Does give you plenty of lifting power. I used this to create a lifting system for heavy horse trailer tire and rim after having to change tire on a recent trip. An 80 yr old and 77 yr old struggled to put removed tire back on lugs under gooseneck.Added a 3/4" bolt at tangent point of hub to rest wheel on. Then easily rotated tire to fit over lugs. My 77 year old wife can do it herself now if I'm not around. Purchased an ammo box to store hoist and avoid ropes getting tangled.

What a GREAT purchase!
I'd "pat myself on the back" for purchasing this block-and-tackle but, at my age I'd probably throw my arm out! I built a 4x8 hinged storage platform attached to the garage ceiling (the hinge side hangs on two ceiling mounted chains). It's rather difficult trying to swing it up by hand while trying to get the two catches hooked by myself. The increased "pull" of the block-and-tackle help a great deal with both the lifting, and holding it in position while hooking the catches. I'm pretty pleased with myself for thinking about this idea!

Does the job, but the rope coils when not under a load.
It works but the rope had memory and wants to coil up. The pullys are light weight and nor designed for heavy use.

Great pulley little effort hanging mountain bike
I bought this to hang my mountain bike up on the ceiling in the garage out-of-the-way. My only problem is the hooks are very small. I bought the two pull wraps extra to be able to pull the bike up but the hooks on the pulley would only accept one end of each strap so instead of folding it over and hooking with 2 strap ends I had to use only 1 strap on each side. I had to wrap and tie the straps around my bike frame and tie together and then hook one end of the strap to the pulley. The pool itself works very efficiently. I was very happy with the weight that I had to pull the pulley up with almost nothing.
