10 Year Weatherproofing for Softwood Timber & Weathered Hardwoods. Roxil Wood Protection Cream is a silicone cream emulsion for wooden structures. The unique cream formula is applied in a single coat directly to unpainted softwood timber using a brush or roller. After application, the cream will absorb into the wood surface and create an invisible waterproof barrier. Single Coat Cream Application. Only a single coat of Roxil Wood Protection Cream is need to protect softwood timbers for at least 10 years. The cream formula also allows for a quick and accurate application, with no splashback or run off on vertical or horizontal surfaces. Reduce Mould and Algae Growth. Softwoods are highly susceptible to mould and algae growth due to their absorbent nature, especially in areas with high rainfall or in shade. Roxil Wood Protection Cream creates an invisible waterproof barrier that significantly reduces moisture ingress and makes the surface of softwoods inhospitable to mould and algae. Retain the Natural Appearance of Your Wood. Most liquid treatments change the appearance of wood, leaving a stained colour or a sheen. Roxil Wood Protection Cream does not change the colour or texture of the wood that it is applied to, allowing it to retain its natural beauty. If desired, it is possible to apply a stain before the application of Roxil. Soft Washing for Longer Life. Wood that has been treated with Roxil Wood Protection Cream will require cleaning less often than untreated wood. Any surface mould, algae or dirt that does occur can easily be cleaned without needing to use destructive acidic cleaners, which cause irreparable damage in the long term.
