Rocker switches work better for my needs.
I needed rocker switches instead of momentary push button switches. I modified this hub by adding an external relay in parallel to one of the rocker switches. That relay is powered by a timer to create a time lock for an external ssd drive. It works great.

Nice hub station
Considering what I had before this is a vast improvement. The switches are when on give out a distinct blue that lets you know they are on. It has more USB slots then my old one did. Sturdier bigger base. Was confused with the power cord but figured it out. In case you can't plug the USB cord into the PC it gives you the option to plug into a power strip instead. I've no complaints and everything works just fine.

It works - there's not much else to say
My wife needed more USB slots for her PC. I knew I had a suitable hub SOMEWHERE but as you know the only way to actually find a thing is to buy a replacement for it. (Sure enough that's what happened.) Anyhow this hub does what it's supposed to, it worked right out of the box, and hopefully it will continue to do so for a long time. It's been doing its thing for several weeks now.

A workhouse
This Femora 7 ports USB 3.0 is a gem. I've been pleasantly surprised. I had another, and I struggled with that from the get go. I could get 2 external hard drives going, but the 3rd would keep stopping. This one, I have 4 extrernal hard drives runing , and I use a laptop cooler to keep the drives cool, so I have that fan plugged into a port plus a mouse/keyboard receiver. I love the rocker on offs. So much better than the push buttons I had. I always thought I should be able to pile on several externals. That's the point of being powered. The lights are strong, but they are fine as long as I don't look top down. I had and external and the light was so sharp, pointing at me, I put black electrical tape on most of it. This one is fine except for looking top down. I had to write this review, as I was looking for a USB strip, I wanted everyone to know I could pile on the extenals and they ran like buttern I ran em all together. I pushed em. Well built. Strong material I think it's a hard plastic, but it could be aluminum or a light metal. It's a tank anyways. andThe On off rockers make this for me. I missed the prime sale, paid 19. 2 more daysdays on the sale! A just go but it no brainier at 15 and at 19 for me, I wouldn't hesitate.

Initally worked well. Now poor bandwidth
I really like the ability to turn off individual devices on this hub and was the main reason I purchased it.The first one I purchased I had to return as it was dropping devices. The replacement was fine until recently when the bandwidth dropped. I can no longer connect my USB webcam to this hub, video quality is terrible now but the webcam works fine when plugged directly into computer. It might be my bad luck bad I dont think I will get another.

Lots of outlets for the money. Yeah… LEDs are crazy-bright
Good value. LEDs are stupid-bright.Something like a USB hub shouldn’t be complex. This provides seven data ports plus a “dumb” charging port, so for the money, it’s a good value.I used the charging port for a little pocket LED flashlight. The switches for each data port seem a bit unnecessary for my purposes since one must un-mount a USB volume before unplugging or switching it off. But I’m sure there are those out there who frequently need to unmount a semi-permanently plugged external drive and hit the switch rather than put all that wear on a sliding-contact connector (USB).As others have written here in the reviews, the LEDs are too bright. I found them to be stupid bright; so bright, that I actually dragged out some solar eclipse goggles to check if I could still see them (I couldn’t), but they do create nice lens flare on an iPhone 12 Pro with clean lenses. Nonetheless, I don’t need an additional nightlight and had to find a way to dim those LEDs. Regular black PVC electricians tape proved to be completely opaque. However, I had some gray PVC tape that was semi-transparent. As I show in the photos, a 120 × 7 mm strip of that gray tape tamed them.

Nice Long cable
I use this on a PC and a short cable just doesn't work well. So this has a 4Ft cable. I don't need to cram it in right next to my PC. The lights are nice and I like having the individual switches. So far, no troubles at all.
