Adorable notebook with some nice features
The most striking thing about this notebook is the cover which looks as pretty in person as the supplied photos. The front and back cover are a little thicker than a standard notebook. While I think they're fairly sturdy, I would have preferred a slightly more rigid cover (like a Moleskine) since this is a journal that presumably a person would want to keep for a very long time. The fabric band that can be used to keep the journal closed or as a bookmark is a nice touch, and the paper stock feels high quality and is nicely lined. I think this is a decent journal - it's nice looking and functional. However, if durability is important to you, you may wish to look around for another option with a thicker cover.

Meets most of my criteria for a perfect notebook. Lots of pages are great.
I use a lot of this size notebooks, both for personal stuff and for work stuff. This size and spiral bound is perfect for taking notes at a meeting. You can fold the book cover over to take up less space. As I use a lot of these books, certain criteria are important to me.1. Size: A5 (5.8 x 8.3)is my preferred size. Small enough to fit on a crowded conference room table, restaurant table, on your lap, etc.2. # of sheets: For me 80 sheets (160 pages are minimum), anything above that is great. Since my notebooks follow one another, when I finish one, I transcribe important stuff left over from one into the next book. So more pages, means the book lasts longer, less transcribing.3. Spiral: This goes along with size, I can use the book folded back. Takes up less space. Also the spiral can be a handy spot to put your pen if it is big enough.4. Rigid cover: Stability to hold it and write on it.5. Strap to close. Protection in your backpack.6. Pocket: Handy for receipts or anything you need to add to the book. This book fits most of my criteria:6” x 8.25” is close enough to A5.Having 160 sheets (320 pages) is double my minimum number of pages, so great. It has a big spiral that pens go in.The covers are nice and rigidThe strap keeps it closed in my backpack. The only thing this notebook missed was the lack of a pocket. The number of pages compensated for that. It was a tradeoff I was willing to make. I don’t always need a pocket. One thing worth mentioning. If this matters to you. This notebook has lines that are 0.31” apart.Wide ruled is 0.34” and College ruled is 0.28. So this one is an in between size relative to those. There are 24 lines per page. I don’t care what my line widths are, as sometimes I’m drawing and it does not matter. But you might, so it was worth mentioning. Also there is an option of covers. I chose flowers as I’m not into the other designs.

beautiful but markers bleed through
The media could not be loaded. Really pretty medium sized journal/ notebook however permanent markers bleed through the pages (as shown in my video) Gel pen seemed to be fine and not bleed through. The front cover has touches of metallic gold. The pages are easy to turn and don't seem to get stuck. Has a handy elastic strap to keep closed or to mark your page.

Beautiful!
This is a beautiful, well-made journal/notebook. It has a colorful, floral design that is true to what is shown in the listing photos. The front and back covers are made of a nice, thick card stock. The inside of each cover has a very pretty, soothing light green and white pattern that coordinates well with the exterior (same color as the butterflies). Another complementary accent is the yellow elastic band that can be used to mark one's place or secure the journal in a closed position (it matches the yellow of some of the flowers). The gold spiral binding adds a touch of elegance and class as well. All of the pages are of a decent weight and thickness. They are lined as well as blank, so if you are looking for a "prompted" journal, this would not be for you. It measures 6 x 8.25, which is a nice size. There is plenty of room on each page to take sufficient notes or record one's thoughts. It is easy to balance on your lap or hold in your hand, and it would easily fit in any tote bag or larger purse.I would definitely order this item again. At $12.99, I think it is a great value, especially since this journal is suitable for gifting. In fact, it is one of those perfect types of small gifts to keep on hand for those last minute situations that inevitable arise around birthdays or holidays.

Attractive design and great price
What's to like:1) floral design is attractive but not gaudy/excessive2) cover is of appropriately heavy stock, a good weight if carrying around3) the coil binder is a) large enough to hold a pen and b) allows smooth flipping of pages4) the pages, of which there are many, are of an in between weight: not heavy stock but not as flimsy as that in some of mine5) the line spacing is great, allows me a bit of wiggle room in note taking6) highlighters do not bleed through (tried yellow, orange, and a hot pink)7) great price for product and a great product for a small giftA slight problem:the only issue I have is with the imprinted non-removeable label on back with the price at top; it's a minor issue as I can mark it out if intended as a gift, or print a small label to cover with the name of the person to whom you are giving it.
