The device is made very well, but unfortunately we could not use the device for more than 2 minutes, because the device supported 110V instead of 220V. I always study the information about the device, but I did not find any information on the site. When I received the device, the range of 110V-250V was written in the package, so I confidently connected the device to the network without knowing what awaited me next. As a result, the controller unit burned out.The support service is very friendly, and tried in every way to help resolve the issue. I am writing this review precisely because this is probably the best support I have encountered, it even seemed to me that there were people there who were worried about my problem as if I were their close friend. It was very nice to see such interest in my problem.

I have always wanted to try my hand at throwing pottery. Although the standard advice is to take a class, I couldn't find one that worked with my schedule. So I purchased this wheel and some clay and found some great YouTube videos.I have only tried throwing 3 or 4 times thus far, but I am enjoying the adventure.Things I like about this wheel:The price was right. It has a pedal to adjust the speed which is nice when your hands are covered in clay. I like the removable basin, makes clean up easier.Things I don't like:The wheel doesn't fully stop, even when you move the pedal to the lowest position. You have to flip the power switch if you want it to stop rotating completely.There aren't any bat pins. I have learned very quickly how nice those would have been!The pedal doesn't have any resistance to it, so it can be difficult to dial in your perfect speed. Lastly, the legs are very short. I needed to set the whole machine on a stand to raise it up.Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. It is a light weight but low quality wheel, good enough to make smaller things, such as mugs or bowls--until it breaks down. I was excited to use it when it first arrived.HOWEVER, after using it for a month, it start to break down. I think the band is very low quality. What happened is sometimes after turning on the wheel for a few seconds, the band would fall off the track and the wheel would stop turning when being turned on. I would manually put the band back up which is tedious to do.What's worse is recently the band has gotten even worse, and every time I put it back, it falls immediately after I turn on the wheel. If you check out the video, you can see that when I first press the foot pedal, the wheel started turning, and then slowed down and stopped. And on the bottom, you can see the band fell off the track.So right now this wheel is no longer usable. I tried to contact the seller but haven't heard back. For an appliance that is over $200, I would expect it to last for at least a year, if not more. Unfortunately it lasted for only a few months.

This is my first pottery wheel and I was super nervous about purchasing because at the time there wasnt any reviews but I couldn't beat the price for all the great aspects of this pottery wheel so I went ahead and bought it and I couldnt be anymore pleased as I am with this wheel!!!I love the size and the fact that it comes with and on and off switch and then also the option to change the direction the wheel spins!!! Also the fact that the basin is removable for easier cleaning is awesome!!! And it also has a foot pedal!!! I researched alot before choosing a wheel and from what I found during my research...having a removable basin and pedal were 2 huge aspects for alot of people that throw pottery! And I myself am so happy I chose this wheel instead of the other that had more reviews because it didnt have neither the pedal or the removable basin and it was also over $100 more than this wheel!!! I feel like I got a huge steal on this wheel because of the price and all the extras it has compared to many others on Amazon. I would recommend this wheel to anyone and would repurchase myself as well!!! It has by far been the best purchase I've made here on Amazon and definitely the best bang for your buck as well!!! They could easily sell this wheel for atleast $100 more and it would still be a great deal for the product your getting and the quality of the wheel!!! Only thing I regret is taking so long to decide to purchase this wheel, because I could have had it sooner and been throwing my pottery sooner!!! It has been an amazing hobby for me!!!! I just throw on some music and throw some clay on my wheel and begin to throw and my stress and anxiety levels just ease away! So for me buying this wheel has been great for me in many ways!So if your thinking of purchasing a new pottery wheel or your on the fence on which wheel to purchase, then look no further and put this one in your cart now and purchase it!!! You will not he disappointed what so ever!!!!

I love this wheel, It works great, great speed control and has a good noise volume. Now just to try & learn how to make pottery. This is for sure the right tool

Great wheel to have at home

I really like this wheel. I am teaching myself to throw watching YouTube. This wheel is heavy duty. Mine was quiet. I know some are not. So I got lucky there. But this has one major issue that I did find a hack for. The splash pan is impossible to take off and put on. I looked it over carefully and figured out it was a design flaw in the clips that hold the 2 pieces together. They made it with no space for the clip to widen to release the round tab. I used my pocket knife and whittled away at the space on the sides of the clips. When I had widened it enough to fit a little rasp in there, I widened it some more that way. Once that was widened enough for the clip to open, it snaps on and off securely.I don't know why they dont make it with bat pins. That'll be another hack I'll have to do, I guess.
