I have used this and found it very readable and helpful as I prepare to rent out a house for the first time. I also recommend the "guide to tax deductions" from the same publisher.

I would recomend getting all three of the books in this series. I.E. the managing property one, the tax one, and the legal guide. Tons of great information!

Sorry, I couldn't make it though but half of the book! The worst advise ever, but after all, he is an attorney, not a real estate investor. If you want a really good book on landlording, purchase Landlording on Autopilot by Mike Butler, former cop who became a real estate investor purchasing buy-n-hold properties. His advice is more sensible.

Excellent writing style which is easy to understand. Provides excellent recommendations and tips for the landlord. Highly recommend!
