Great starter kit for my first hive. It had everything I needed for basic hive care, all in one place at a good price. The quality is better than I expected.

The bag and tools are.so handy and made from good materials. The bag is very large and hold all.of my tools. The smoker is of good quality and works perfectly. I love the gloves and it really does protect from stings. I suggest getting this.

The media could not be loaded. After reading some of the other reviews, I was very nervous to purchase this. However, I’m super happy I did! All of the physical stuff that you need to take care of your hive is of good quality!The only disappointment that I had with the set is with the little smoker pellets. They have not burned well for me at all even though everything else inside of my smoker will burn, these little guys are often left untouched. Part of the reason I purchased this set specifically is for the pellets to see if I liked them, and I don’t.Outside of that, I highly recommend!

This kit literally came with everything i needed to inspect my hive. the J hook tool was especially helpful as it helps me unhook the frames that the bees glued down to the hive box if you will. I also liked the smoker itself along with the pallets it came with which generate alot of smoke and helps keep my bees calm during inspections. my only gripe was I wish it came with a small set of instructions explaining what everything was to us complete beginners. other wise very good kit and product.

New to beekeeping, I've watched a lot of youtube videos. The youtube advice is to avoid amazon products they are cheap. My husband refused to even open the box when this kit arrived. I opened it, and was DELIGHTED at the quality of all the products. The carrying bag is extra bonus. This is a great deal and great supplies.

So far this is an acceptable for the price. The smoker is nice, the hive tool is good. There are several items that are not necessary but the bag is nice too. Overall good for the price.
