I love this!
I've had this for a while and was not too amazed with the sound output. I devoted about an hour to try to figure out why it was not that loud and unimpressive. After playing with the Sound Slayer engine (a free program offered by Sony in the instruction book), I turned off all sound enhancements in the Windows settings to start from scratch. After I turned off all Windows sound enhancements the neckband speakers came alive!!!!. At first, it sounded super flat, but I played some Rap songs (Tom Macdonald's voice and instruments are great to tone out tinny or flatness ) on YouTube. I was able to dial it in with the Sound Slayer engine EQ. The Sound Slayer Engine handles the spatial aspects of the sounds so DO NOT allow windows to set this as 4 channel (windows adjust for missing speakers), 5.1 or 7.1 (don't try atmos for headphones as it only works for headphones).Microphone: REALLY GOOD. Playing fallout 76 with area chat on with zero issues. Friends tell me I sound really clear with no "pops" or distortion. It's nice to be able to talk normal and have it come across at normal levels, like a real-life conversation lolI solidly give this a 5/5. Just be aware that others can hear this and not a substitute for headphones. It's great for a balance between speakers and headphones and the other people are sleeping in the house. It's spatially accurate and it makes FPS easier as I can hear exactly where footsteps are and the direction of the bullet near misses. TIP: If you have any issues with your Sound Slayer, access Windows Sound, select SC-GNW10 (game), properties, uncheck all boxes in "Enhancements", turn off "Spatial Sounds", then open SoundSlayer Engine, turn off "Virtual Surround", then select EQ of "FPS" (good setting), or play with a custom profile (its easy and fun and you wont hurt anything).

Don't waste your money...it's horrible compared to Sony's
Update after several months of usage, and now compared to Sony: I cannot stress this enough, Sony's Bravia Theater-U wearable speaker is SO much better in literally every way it's not even funny. Comfort, sound clarity, surround sound, and bass. And to make it even better they're both on sale for the same price. I'm updating my review from 3 down to 2 stars because I didn't realize how bad the Panasonic was until I tried the Theater U. ALSO, I'm able to use the Woojer Strap with the Sony as well which kills what I thought was the one advantage Panasonic had.Pros:1) Decent wireless surround sound.2) Base station has a 3.5"mm audio out port that allows you to connect a subwoofer which is what sold me on the unit. I use it with my Woojer Strap 3 with a cable connection for increased immersion.3) No noticable lag.Cons:1) Almost no bass, even after adjusting the sound in the app. I'm pretty sure my $60 Monster Boomerang has more kick to it.2) Fits loosely around the neck. If you look up... It can easily fall off. This wasn't an issue with my Boomerang. For this reason I probably won't use for PCVR.3) For the price, I expected more ESPECIALLY as far as bass is concerned. If it wasn't for the base station's subwoofer port, I would have returned it and been happy with my Boomerang.

The best shoulder speaks currently available!
I'm sorry I didn't find out about these sooner! The best wearable should speakers currently available! Great features and no lag.Light almost too light, I would trade some lightness for better speakers. They can sound a bit tinny and could use some more base from time to time. When you are wearing them they have good loud sound and good directional sound. They are perfect for when you want to be relatively quite. To someone not wearing them, they sound and are about as loud as a cell phone on speaker. If there is no sound they will turn themselves off after a little while to save battery. It feels like it's a bit too fast to do this.Overall: 5 starsComfort: 5 starsFeatures: 5 starsSound Quality: 4 starsSound directionality: 5 stars

Great upgrade
My old wired soundslayer died after two years and this pre-owned replacement and upgrade was well worth the money. Strong and fits perfectly on the neck. Includded battery charge cable is short but you can use your phones charge cable instead. The wifi receiver is nice too because my pc doesn't have bluetooth.I highly recommend the soundslayer headsets, with tinnitus I can't wear full headphones and these are amazing.

Nice neck speaker
The Sony SRS-WS1 is more comfortable to wear. The Panasonic Gaming Neck Speaker is superior in sound quality. You can change the sound quality to your liking with the software. The microphone is smaller than expected when used for streaming, so it may be necessary to set the microphone sound louder. If you find headsets too hot or earbuds don't fit when gaming, this is the best choice. It would be better if it were a little cheaper.
