Whitetail Institute Beets & Greens Deer Food Plot Seed for Fall Planting - Blend of Sugar Beets, Kale, Turnip and Radish to Attract and Hold Deer Throughout Fall and Winter

This is the second year that I am using this product. I'm planting in the Northern Lower Part of Michigan, planted this 1 month ago after careful preparation of my not great woodland foot plot soil. It has done amazing in the last month and I'm looking forward to another great season where the deer love this stuff. It seems to provide food through the winter and spring, my deer dig through the snow to get at these beets and eat the greens until nothing is left. Highly recommend it

3 stars as it didn't seem to produce like it does on their advertisements. Before anyone goes off about how I didn't soil test, I did. I also added the appropriate amounts to get the soil to where they said was optimum. I'll do another soil test this spring and see where we ended up at, either the test was wrong, the amount they said to add was off or this was old stock and fertilization rates were low.

Had a heck of a time getting these things to grow and when they did, they didn't get very large! Tested soil and it's pH was neutral. Tilled in two backs of fertilizer when planting and another bag later, and they STILL only got about 6 inches tall! I expected better than that.

East Texas food plot , planted sept 10 ,, 3 weeks later it is about 4 inches tall and very thick coverage on about 1 1/2 ,, right now it is exceeding my expectations . I am excited to see how hard our deer will take to this new food source

Not as good as advertised. It came up and deer are eating but, only plant in ideal situations: lots of sun. Plots in the shade did not do well.

2nd year of planting this and the deer are hammering it once again. Grows great.
