I use this while playing with my MetaQuest. It does get in the way a bit, but it works well.

This was perfect for vr and used my quest 2 with it and it is definitely the right choice, don’t have any screen tearing which I was worried about and long enough to give myself plenty of slack

If someone were to use it for a VR headset, where the cable might rub against skin during prolonged use, it could be uncomfortable. The thickness and rough texture of the braid make it less ideal for situations where you need flexibility and comfort, such as during immersive VR gaming.Overall, while the cable delivers excellent performance for powering devices like my CarPlay unit, its thickness and rough braiding make it less than ideal for VR headsets, especially if the cable comes in contact with your skin frequently.

The media could not be loaded. so damned irritated, why can't I find a working cable for my kids quest 2 VR helmet? do I really have to spend 100 dollars for the official pos meta sells? utterly ridiculous. I bought it early to go with his helmet for Christmas, can I still return this trash? do not buy this for VR

Looks like a quality cord but after using it with an Xbox wireless controller as wired. Blue connector malfunctioned while in use and melted into my pc's port. Used this through 2 hours of gaming and then malfuctioned. I'm not a big gamer and I don't game often. Should've tested it before the return window ran out.

If you want extra play time on your quest vr headset a long charging cable combined with a USB wall charger works great. Your battery will still run down while you are using the headset but it will take longer than on battery alone and will charge when not using the headset. Also an essential piece if you plan to play steam vr or older oculus games that don't run native on the meta quest. Yes you could conncect to your pc via the wireless option but, imo, it's not as good an experience and unless you have external batteries on your headset will run out of power way to fast.
