i LOVE these, way more than i thought. added little white tea candles, they illuminate the whole thing (interior) just perfectly. got the smaller ones to sit atop old tall candle holders on my “beach” patio, and they look amazing. super deal.

Lobster lanterns, perfect for our beachy, nautical boat decor. We got both sizes, lg & sm, added LED candles wrapped in navy & white grosgrain striped ribbon. They are nicely made, look like the photos & look white washed & beachy. I might get another set for another room in the boat.

Very cute decorative touch for our bathroom tub. Made of bleached wood and lightweight.The glass holder that goes inside has no “holder” area to keep it in place, so I made a makeshift one of my own. Also, keep in mind that the decorative rope tied on top needs to be kept to the side or the flame from your candle could possibly reach it.Overall, well-made and no regrets buying it.

I'll use this on the porch of my beach house, but I'll replace the glass cylinder with one that has a bottom and put a little sand and a few small shells in it.

UPDATED TO 1 STAR...Yesterday I barely bumped this lantern and it moved about 5 inches to one side and the glass encasement shattered in a burst all over the floor beneath it.As I was picking up the pieces I came to realize that the glass was so thin that the heat from the candle (WHICH I DIDN'T GET TO TRY BECAUSE OF WHAT I MENTIONED BELOW) would have most likely melted it. This really is a hazardous item. Just think if the candle were actually lit and bumped lightly. There would be hot wax and glass covering the floor for my puppy and children to find before me :( SCARY!DO NOT PURCHASE unless you NEVER touch it, or want to use this as a tiny hanging plant holder, because the wood and rope are sturdy. I didn't necessarily wish to repurpose it though :(ORIGINAL REVIEW...Honestly, I really like this lantern pillar candle holder. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a base that was set up to hold the candle's melting wax fallout. So I have been trying to think of something to put under the candle that fits within the glass cylinder to collect any spills, but have not had time to do so. So sadly it is for decoration only for now, because I cannot guarantee the safety or reusuability once wax has built up on the wood surface.

Not a big as expected but it’s a nice little candle holder. Beware of the rope when lighting candle though.
