"Must have for PMO Leaders, PM Students and Organizations"
In this book, the PMO services have been formalized and described comprehensively, which has contributed significantly to the understanding of how to design, build, and operate one or more PMOs.The author has provided additional context on how principles are related to codes of behavior, culture, values, and bias. This second edition of this book is a valuable addition to the AIPMO book series, providing an updated and expanded understanding of PMO services principles and domain principles. The book is well-structured and easy to follow, and the author's extensive experience in PMO is evident throughout the content. I would highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to enhance their understanding of PMO services and improve their approach to PMO design, build, and operation. It is an essential read for those seeking to enhance their understanding of the subject and apply it to their work.

Build a PMO which is fit-for-purpose
I've been introduced to the books of Dr. Robert Joslin via AIPMO and the courses of IPMO-F and IPMO-P, which I highly recommend. This book is very well written - it has nothing to be removed. The book structures the PMO services within a matrix of services and principles while explaining each option and use cases. This could be the Rosetta-Stone or perfect starting point for building a PMO for its desired purpose. It is easy to read and navigate and very clear. It helps in building a desired PMO which is fit-for-purpose by connecting every service to its outputs.I would also recommend combining the "PMO Principles and PMO Services Principles" book with the "Organizational, portfolio, program and project principles", which can provide an additional level of depth to PMO.

A great follow up and companion to AIMPO's 'PMO Services and Capabilities'
I bought this book purely on my impression of AIPMO’s earlier publication, ‘PMO Service and Capabilities’, and I was not disappointed. It’s a companion piece to their service catalogue describing those principles required for building and operating a PMO with the culture required for success. Like other publications in the AIPMO’s suite of PMO literature the content is very well laid out, with clarity of language, and an appropriate use of diagrams and tables to aid understanding. The hierarchy of principles is presented, leading with those required for the PMO as a whole, and then for each service (as per the service catalogue). Each principle is described with supporting examples and tips, which is very welcome as we all know reading about principles is easy, putting them into practice is the difficult part. This is a very welcome addition to the Service Catalogue, providing the information PMO professionals need to build and drive improvements to their environment. Again, I have no problem recommending this book.

PMOs principles: revolutionizing Project Management
This book explained the approach to the PMO principles and PMO services principles. It provides details on the main principles and thinking project professionals should adopt when designing their PMOs. This principal approach allows for greater applications in the project management world including the application to all sectors of work.It is noteworthy that the authors considered the integration of the OECD principles in this book which reinforces the universal applicability of the materials. This provides a richer context for the user/ reader when considering the PMO services offering. The authors are pushing the limits of the Project management world in yet again a fantastic piece of work.
