I didn’t find these very useful. I tried them out on a recent hotel stay and at home. I was never able to get them between the door jamb and the lock. Maybe it’s operator error but I don’t see how these work.

Tool only works for inside swing doors. If you are outside with a door that swings inward you will need to remove the door molding. And if you remove the door molding, a simple flat head screw driver works just as well. Waste of money.

Good product for its intended use, durable, portable, affordable. I use it to open locked doors which I do not have a key for. I’m a maintenance supervisor, I do not intend to open all doors this way, only locked or ones with inoperable door knobs. Not much force needed, not as damaging as a screwdriver.

I am not a firefighter so I cannot attest to this opening all doors in an emergency. I got this because I get locked out of my house by other members of my family (by accident) frequently. It comes in a pack of two so now I keep one outside the back and front of my house so I never have to walk all the way around to get back in.

This tool doesn't only have to be for a firefighter or EMT, but is a small enough tool for anyone that needs to tackle little tasks such as opening doors, accessing confined spaces, or use of other emergency situations. I used it right away to open a couple of doors at home and was easy to do also. It won't work for all doors depending on the build but is a perfect tool for the right situation!

Once I used this the first time I really that there's an art to properly make these work. It's the same level as using a coat hanger to open a car door, takes time and you need to be careful to not damage frames. But...it did work
