Hello,The Radio is analog. No it s a commercial radio and does not include the programming cable and or software. They are sold separately or we can program for you.Thanks Surplus Radios

No. We can get about 1 mile with ours if have line of sight. However, we use a repeater and these radios communicate with the repeater and give us about 10 miles of range in favorable conditions. You would want to try a GMRS mobile or base radio or better yet, get your HAM license and get a HAM radio. These radios are best for job sites and such. Hope that helps.

These radios (from all vendors) don't use a "channel frequency". You need the specific matching programming cable and programming software for the specific brand/model of radio, and then YOU specify the frequency and other details. If you don't understand this, be aware that screwing around with "Part90" radios without the right licensing can get you jail time and a $5000-$10,000 fine very quickly. These are not toys to mess around with.
