Solid crimper
Got this crimper to make my own hydraulic hoses using crimp on fittings but have used it for garden hose repair (with correct ferrules) and compressing pipe onto rod and other uses. Very flexible - has magnetic dies that are easy to change. My crimper shipped with 7 instead of 8 dies (30mm was missing), but seller has been good to work with and is shipping missing die to correct order. Pump works well - seems to be 2 stage - thinking about adding a pressure gauge at some point, but that's not needed for usage of the crimper. Takes a little practice to get the crimps to correct spec using the built in gauge and did not come with instructions or user manual, so you need to have some knowledge about how to use from elsewhere (YT is a good resource). Overall, happy with purchase!

Portability
I farm. I have many times where we blow hydraulic hoses and the hose is fine it simply got pinched and damaged. That’s where this comes in. I can bring it right to the machine. Cut the end off and then crimp on a new end to make a splice or add in another piece. I have used it on my sprayer, cultivator and many other pieces of equipment and works really well. I have also found that it’s not limited like some crimpers because the dies are adjustable. You can typically look up the crimp spec of any brand of fitting and get it down to the right diameter and if for some reason you need to go a little more or less depending on maybe not a perfect fit for the hose you can make that adjustment. Set the micrometer to where it is and then now it is repeatable. I have taken the time and simply written the crimp dies and the micrometer setting on the compartment where I keep my individual fittings so I can repeat the crimp in the future. Only real issue it is a lot of strokes to sometimes complete a crimp. But the benefit of not needing power or something else on the service truck well exceeds this.

Good crimper
I have made a few hydraulic lines since the purchase. Was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. The lines have not failed. Not a unit for production type because it takes quite a lot of handle pumps to crimp. Great for some one who is tired of paying the stupid high prices for a company to make the lines.

Definitely a good investment
Good quality, works, kind of hard to figure out but worth it. Has saved me more than the machine cost already.

Makes a very professional crimp
Once you know the o. d. of the hose set up and making the crimp is fast and easy. The shipping box came damaged but the unit was ok.

Trying to get another die
I received this with a broken die # 19 I can’t believe it no damage to the carton or anything else I believe it was put in the draw broken and that’s the one part I want to use .Other wise it’s great.

Fantastic for home use!
This crimper works great for home use. I am able to make tractor hoses for my GC1730. It will also make Air compressor hoses. Customer Service is great. I was able to address the issue I had with my machine!

so far so good... and pays for itself with one or two hoses. Does need much better instructions tho
I got this to avoid going to the hydraulic shop for hoses. Last time I went they wanted hundreds of dollars to do one lousy hose. Now I can take hoses taken off old machines, cut them to length and put the fittings that I need on without having to leave the jobsite. The instructions are pretty worthless, but watch a few youtube videos and take your time to get a solid connection. Once the tube shows a tiny bit of bulge next to the crimp, you know you are good to go.. too little pressure and it will blow apart, too much with a big bulge on the tube and it will damage the hose itself and will fail soon enough. The machine does allow you to easily stop part way and pull out the fitting to check it. Once you have the right pressure dialed in, you can adjust the stop sensor and a light will come on to let you know you are at the correct pressure.
