Awesome little radio
It's small holds a charge and if you know your radios you can make it sing you can listen to ham bands and digital all sorts of signals the antenna that you use and location is key.

Works well but, it's not Grandpa's radio.
lt generally works very good. The setup in the menus can be a bit disconcerting. You should know something about your region and your band set up for broadcast. It comes set up for European or itu1 frequencies. One must change the menu to itu2 for North American bands. The FM in the menu setup should be changed from 64 MHz to 88 MHz. I'm still learning but I am surprised at how well this little box receives. Going to try to figure out the digital reception next.Quick taps on the main control will select between volume, another volume which is actually AGC and squelch. It's kind of confusing at first. A long push on the main control puts it in scan which is still kind of confusing to me.Sensitivity and selectivity seem to be surprisingly good. Audio quality on FM is maybe acceptable. But I admit for the price I will consider it a pretty decent radio!

It's portable and hasca wide bandwidth
So far this little gem is running right out of the box. I looked over the directions and had to figure out some of the features on my own but the reception is very good even inside. The sound quality is very good as well. This is going with my Ham outings and with me when I go out of town to have something to listen to.

3rd unit, still no wifi
This is my 3rd unit and they all suffered from the same issue. EITHER WIFI CONNECTS, BUT WILL NOT STAY ON, OR IT SEARCHES FOR A SIGNAL, AND GETS NEIGHBORS, BUT NOT MY OWN EVEN THOUGH I RIGHT ON TOP OF MY GATEWAY. THEN, YOU SCAN AGAIN, AND NO WIFI COMES UP. SCAN AGAIN AND SEVEN COME UP INCLUDING MINE. TOO BAD. IT COULD BE A GREAT LITTLE RADIO.

This is a great little radio.
A great radio that performs way better than its price.

Looks good but doesn't delivery
I used this for about 2 weeks and while it was (really) fun to explore and tinker, I could never get the thing to actually receive anything. The little expandable antenna is obviously not ideal, so I hooked it up to an out door and antenna and did not see any change. In the RTTY digital mode it would receive some text, but it was all gibberish and constant meaning it was probably just picking up static as a transmission. It could have been me, it could have been my location, but definitely a meh and for the cost, you can find something better!

Completely deaf on SW compared to my other receivers
I got it during the day and immediately tried some daytime frequencies that all my other SW receivers pick up clearly with whip antennas - 11930 kHz, WWV on 15 MHz, 15770 kHz, 17855 kHz, etc. Not even a peep from this one! I tried hooking it to my Wellbrook antenna and still nothing.FM seemed good enough but since I am a shortwave listener, this receiver is a big NO for me...I would have perhaps tried an exchange for another one, but I have an older ATS25 that is also deaf on SW and which I keep only for other listening. So I decided not to take a chance on another and most likely still have it be deaf on SW.And further, although it does not "chuff" while tuning, it still does soft mute, turning the volume completely off and then on again when spinning the dial to another frequency, so it still has an annoying sound...It went straight back for a refund the very same day I got it.

A lot of radio in a small box!
Obviously portable and off grid use. Still learning the ins-and-outs of the radio, the manual was for an older version of firmware. There's a lot of capability in this little rig! Nice sturdy construction, looks to last for many years to come.
