Brittany (Susan Ward, of the Aaron Spelling soaps Malibu Shores and Sunset Beach) is a beach-volleyball stud and nice girl whose chance for happiness is threatened by her vicious rival Maya (Leila Arcieri). Toss in a suspicious investigator (Isaiah Washington), some plot twists, and laughable dialogue, and sit back for the ride. Wild Things 2 isn't really a sequel; none of the characters (and not surprisingly none of the actors) return, though there is a re-do of the original's most famous scene. That's about the only semi-noteworthy aspect of this straight-to-video potboiler. --David Horiuchi
