I was looking for an economical but durable butter holder, nothing for fancy parties or "high tea".This holder, has clean lines and on each end of the tray it has a raised edge where you can scrape off extra butter that you're not going to use. It holds 2 sticks of butter side by side comfortably.You know, l'm 62 years old and have never seen this on a butter tray - I LIKE VERY MUCH - great idea and feature.Back then I would end up eating that extra dollop of butter or putting it back on the unused butter.The cover is clear, tray opaque white, looks and feels durable. But those raised edges on each side - genius !!! They aren't going to get in your way.Consider this a good buy and only suggestion maybe some different colors and/or patterns.

This simple plastic butter dish deserves compliments due to its excellent design. As to the obvious, it is clear, making it easy to keep track of the butter supply. It is plastic, so it doesn't break if dropped. It holds two sticks of butter, so refilling is needed less often. The top is carefully designed to snap onto the bottom, yet easily lifts off. Best of all, it has anti-skid pads on the bottom so it does not slide around on a countertop. I highly recommend it.

I have been looking for months for a butter dish that would hold the Kirkland Signature New Zealand Grass-Fed Butter. The butter is formed just slightly larger than Kerrygold butter. I even bought a couple of different dishes which I thought might work. They are going to the thrift store. My favorite butter dish up until now has been the Mepal brand dish. It works beautifully for any other brand of butter - and because of the way the lid fits I haven't had to worry about butter on the lid. But it just isn't large enough for the butter I have been wanting to use regularly. I have included a couple of photos. In the second photo the Mepal butter dish is on the left and my new Lifewit butter dish is on the right.I am extremely happy to have found this butter dish!Some plastics will crack or break on my tiled floor but so would any glass or ceramic one. I just try to be careful not to drop it...Because I hand wash my dishes I have not encountered the problem of one reviewer who said the lid deformed in the dishwasher - so I can't speak to that issue.

I ordered this butter dish because my husband broke our glass one. This one is pretty nice! It’s easy to clean. I like that it’s extra wide too to fit more than one stick if I wanted. My only gripe is that I wish there was some sort of little grip or handle on top to help open it. The lid kind of snaps on which is super nice however that makes it a little harder to open and I can’t really do it one handed. Other than that it’s a nice and simple butter container. I like it a lot!

Great for the price! It doesn't say dishwasher/ microwave safe on it, so we just have to remember that part

We bought this dish because we kept breaking the top of the ceramic butter dishes we prefer. This dish is lightweight plastic and we probably won't put it in the dishwasher in order to not crack the acrylic clear top. We like that it is wide enough to put in two sticks of butter side by side. We also like the rubber grips on the bottom of the dish that keep it from sliding around on our granite countertop. The clear top is nice so we can see how much butter is in the dish without having to take the lid off. We just got it so we can't speak to durability as of yet. Overall, seems like a good butter dish.

Arrived when expected in good shape. We love being able to have 2 sticks of butter in the same dish.

I did extensive research for a butter dish!!!Was pleased with this one as although plastic it’s sturdy and has a good grip on the worktop along with being easy to clean. Edges mean butter doesn’t move around when scraping off.

Je ne trouvais pas de beurrier suffisamment grand pour les plque de 250g, voire plus. Haut et large sans être trop encombrant, mais en plastique.

Perfect for holding my butter and easy to clean !
