Really like this
Just received this, so durability and battery life are too new to rate. However, I like the no slip surface and the fact that at last, I no longer have to plug and unplug to charge my phone. It's a pain, and weakens the charging port in time. I also like the one year warranty. So, I have no complaints so far. Wild I reccomend? Yes.

The moment you lay hands on this charger you can feel the quality of craftsman ship
This charger is a no nonsense does exactly what you bought it for. Then add the build quality and it is worth every dime. I have to make and answer phone calls all day in my industry and knowing my phone is charged at all times if I have to run out the door is huge for me. I also love not having to plug and unplug my phone, especially with my case. This quality device is a life convenience that also adds a professional look to your work space. I just really enjoyed the unboxing to plugging it in and hearing my phone go BING... FAST CHARGING BABY.

NOT FAST CHARGING
This device is fast charge enabled, imagine my surprise when it DID NOT come with its own fast charging power block. But, this is not a problem for me because I have the Note 10+ which came with a fast charge block and a handy little adapter to allow me to use that block for this charging pad. I plug it in and place my device on it and at 63% it tells me it going to take and hour and 40 minutes. This device is NOT fast charge enabled. I have multiple fast charging options so I figured I would try the others to make sure it just couldn't do it through the adapter. I tried the in wall fast charging usb port and same hour and 40 minutes. This device is NOT fast charge enabled. So I tried the other fast charging power block that uses standard USB, same hour and 40 minutes. This device is NOT fast charge enabled. If you didn't guess by now. This device is not what it says it is. So I will be returning it.

I like the much maligned charger
I have only had this a day. I will update it as problems if any are found. This has gotten a lot of bad press and I blame the manufacturer "Encased". They don't include a manual. You have to go to their website and the product to find one and it appears out of date. Amazon has an explaination of the lights in the product in their description. Why the heck you don't put in a manual that could be photo copied on one printer page I do not know! Thats why they got 4 stars. I am an electrical engineer and wrote lots of them so I will create a rambling summary manual here..As a review.. the think is built rock solid metal cased. attractive neutral non skid pad. It uses a USB "C" connector. It come with a cheap plastic 3' charge cord and no power block. It gets dinged for this but dang, one comes with your phone or device and I am particular about my cords. I am swimming in power blocks, USB power receptacles, I have three ports in my car. It works like a champ. I think it would charge my phone from zero percent in about 3 hours. Having gone through three phones or power boards because the USB connector wore out. I am elated. I drop the phone on it and it charges. I have a protective over my USB port, now I seldom mess with it. The thing is dense, as in heavy for it's size. That means good heat radiation. You could drop the thing in your pocket or purse with no difficulty. It is like a 1/4" thick disk. I include two photos that don't do justice to the color and brightness of the LED. I have to nudge it around sometimes to find the sweet spot. Pretty simple to use.I am convinced most peoples problems are because they didn't use it right and had no manual to figure out the problem. So here is how it operates:In the product description on Amazon it describes light meanings.RED: waiting for a device.FLASHING RED: there is an obstruction or some metal object like a magnet or snap disk on the back of the phone, credit cards, or gum wrappers in the case between the Back of the phone. Things in front are probably fine.BLUE: the phone is charging. One person answered with a link to the charger manual also. The link is broken, but goes to the "Encased" catalog page, choose the PowerPod charger and the link to the tiny manual is below the description. I am not sure it is very current as mine (bought 10-2020) follows the light pattern above and here on Amazon and the manual describes green lights and flashing combinations I don't see. It does explain if you try to charge your phone for an extended time with an obstruction, the charger goes into a protect mode that can only be reset by unplugging the device. This may explain people having the charger quit after a couple weeks or never working. Maybe it just needs to be reset.Don't set other things on the charger! Metal objects, earings, bracelets, pens, glasses could all be read by the charger. If it kicks on, the item and charger would get hot. The charger has thermal protection to shut off and cool down when too hot.My guess is lots of the bookcover type protectors, cloth, leather, and simulated leather covers have magnets in them to hold the cover shut or open. That would get very hot if it charged. It operates like an inductive stove burner. If there is not a receiving coil in the phone it would heat instead of capture the energy.I have an Otterbox cover, very substantial, and it charges fine. The old manual says it flashes in fast charge mode I am not sure it does that anymore. It seems fast anyway.

Fast charging...eh
I like slim, easy to put together and works though the case. However, its not fast charging...even with the case off. You will need to keep it on all night to get a full charge. I will need to use it only when traveling if I am desperate. so eh..

Very convenient. Fast charging.
This is very cool. I need to look up an explanation of how these work. It takes a minute for the lights to flash when you first plug the charger in, but once it goes through whatever startup process, it charges quick and easy. I keep it by my bedside and just set the phone on it when I go to bed.

Overheats, and not reliable
This seems to be well constructed, but with a Galaxy 23+ and now a Galaxy 24+ it is prone to overheating the phone more days than not, and sometimes even after 8 hours it will have not reached 100%. I reallize there are battery settings in the 24+ but those were not in effect. In short, there are good days and bad days with this, but overall, unpredictable.

Great charger
Great slim charger. Works great. What I like the most even though its a small thing is that the charging indicator light turns off after a few seconds....this way it doesnt light up the room at night when trying to sleep. Nice design and will buy as gifts

Kein passender Adapter dabei
Optisch ganz hübsch. Allerdings wird kein passender Steckdosenadapter mit geliefert, was mich dazu nötig auch noch einen passenden schnelllade Adapter zu kaufen
