We had such a great time putting this together. The parts were very well made and easy to assemble. I have been making miniatures my whole life and this was impressive. I mean, the parts are printed, not handmade, but the quality is nice and it looks really cool on the bookshelf with the lights on. I added a few small handmade items of my own just to give it a special touch. But it really didn't need them. Very cute fun project.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to a close friend who loves books and puzzles. The only issue she had was putting together the cauldron. After researching it a bit, most people had the same issues. She spoke to a friend who likes doing miniatures. He suggested putting the oval, accordion shaped pieces in some warm water to make them a little more pliable. Worked like a charm!! Over all this was a fun project and easy to put together.

I've done other miniature kits in the past, and this was my favorite I've ever tried by far. It turned out exactly like the pictures. Instructions are included in English with very clear illustrations. The kit requires glue and batteries which are not included. I used Elmer's craft bond glue which worked fine for everything that needed to be glued. The majority of the pieces just slot together like a 3D puzzle. Most of the more fragile pieces had duplicates in case they break, which was handy. It took me a couple of weeks to finish working on it for a few hours at a time, probably around 15 hours total. Overall very cute, and I would buy another kit from this company. My one complaint is the cauldron pieces keep popping apart and one snapped in half and there weren't any duplicates for that piece. I'll probably have to replace the cauldron with something else.

The detail involved in putting this thing together is daunting but worth it. Solid quality materials, awesome instructions, completely worth the purchase. Got it as a gift. I’m sad to say, I’m a victim of a targeted ad… but a very happy targeted ad victim to say the least.

This was my first Book Nook kit but it was complete with solid materials and good instructions. I had to sand most of the pieces before assembling but they include a mini board to do that with, just know you have to take a little extra time. My only issue was the wiring. The diagram was easy enough to understand and when I did the initial light testing they were all working. The trouble was during the install. The connector sheaths were so far up that I couldn't get the slack I needed to properly install the lights without pulling on them a bit, and even then it was pretty tight. Got the whole thing together and it flickered a little if the battery box wasn't angled just so, but then it was steady so I thought it would be ok. Ran it for a little bit and then turned it off overnight. Cue the next morning, the lights are dead. Will not turn on, even with different batteries. I'm pretty sure the wires are loose or damaged somehow, but with everything glued together I don't know how I'd restring the lights if I pulled them out to troubleshoot. The scene is still really pretty without the lighting, it's just a let down to have it fail so quickly. I'm going to see if I can get a button light or something to replace them, but the wiring from the kit itself is touchy.

This type of puzzle caught my attention and I had the opportunity to see one assembled, so I no longer hesitated to make the purchase. I won't put it together yet but with the first views I see the delicacy and detail; It also comes in sealed bags so I trust it is complete; I am very excited

The media could not be loaded.  I loved all of it! Building the furniture was my favorite, but the little items were a lot of fun too. Once the last wall went on, and I turned the light on I was speechless. Cant wait to start my next one. Best gift I ever bought myself.
