I got this delivery the day before my last craft show and was so glad, there was not even a slight wisp of a breeze and I had a bunch of Christmas wind spinners that I wanted to sell. This rotator was able to spin one of them for me so I had it right out front and that was the spinner that sold first and then I would move another spinner to that spot and it would sell next. After a while people caught on that all of my wind spinners would do that on their patio if there was a breeze or if they bought their own motor from Amazon. I didn't sell all of them but I did sell more than I would have without this battery operated motor. I'm going to buy more of them for demo's when there is no wind or if my venue is indoors.

We used this motor to spin our disco ball. It only partially succeeded. The loop that suspends the device from the ceiling is sturdy and works fine. The motor seemed to have no trouble spinning the disco ball. There are a few things that could use improvement - 1) The lower hook that holds the disco ball (or whatever else you wish to spin) is extremely flimsy - without exageration I can honestly say that a paperclip is stronger. It needs to be replaced with something stronger. 2) Cord management issues - The cord needs a keeper that attaches to the hanging loop. The cord comes out of the lower edge of the spinner. The problem is that from this position it hangs down and drags on whatever you are trying to spin. It would be a simple improvement to include a wire (like the top loop is made from) cross-member on the top of the spinner to hold the cord out away from whatever is spinning. 3) The cord is quite short. This thing is designed to hang from the ceiling so it makes sense that the cord should be extra long to reach from the ceiling to the outlets near the floor. The provided cord doesn't even reach halfway to the floor. That means you'll need an extension cord, adding to the cord-management problems.

The electric motor for the spinner we had was dead and I just love how it looks. This works pretty well and was a good replacement for the broken one. Sun charges during the day and by the time it winds down its time for bed. Enjoying it.

this item was delivered on December 4 and was put on a tree ornament on the 5 th and stopped working on the 6th.

Spinner is too large for my planned use.Rethinking how I can use it in a different way

The media could not be loaded.  I had recently received a streamer wind sock that I had put up hoping the wind along my side patio was strong enough to make spin and do its thing. After a couple of weeks I discovered I would need a Category 1 or 2 tropical storm/wind to get the wind sock to spin and move around. So along comes the opportunity to review this Goolyrusim Solar Powered Wind Spinner and I thought just maybe this would work. The instructions are short and simple, up and running in minutes.And work it has! I can sit at my computer, look out the window at my side patio and watch the previously purchased wind sock spin and spin and spin and spin. It's very relaxing to watch this Wind Spinner do its magic.Now I'm thinking about what else I can attach to the Wind Spinner...............

We got this for a school project my daughter was doing and it worked perfectly. It's a small, light weight hook and motor. It's very easy to hang and it can hold about 5-8lbs on this lower hook and still spin nicely. It's very quiet and battery operated, so you can use it anywhere you want. It spins slowly and gives a really neat effect on a disco ball or wind spinner. Overall, it's great!
