Works great
I love this. It works really good and is super easy to use. I thought it’s worth the cost. It gets nice and hot pretty quick.

Defective or crap?
I am using my wood burner for the first time today. I am a crafter and using it to cut and fuse deco mesh. I am extremely disappointed with this. During use, the tip began bending. Im assuming its due to the extreme heat. Once the tip began bending, the whole piece snapped right out causing a burn on my finger. The threads to screw on another tip are completely warped. This thing gets so hot that the tip glows orange/red, so use caution. With that in mind, there is no stand that comes with this, so use discretion when placing this down in an area that won't burn or melt. The extra tips are the only plus that I can find with this product. It's ruined after the first use and I no longer have the packaging to return it. Try another product because this one isn't it.

Works well for burning wood
I never used one of these before but it was easy to use. The only downfall is the tips bend if you apply to much pressure. I would say if you used the same amount of pressure that you would with a #2 pencil this tip bends due to heat. Beyond that it works well.

Piece of junk
I bought this to do woodburning projects and have used the pen a couple times now. It gets VERY hot. Hot enough to melt the exchangeable tips that come with it. After only 15-20 min of use, the tips become loose and wobble around making precision work pretty much impossible. After cooling the tips are stripped and no longer securely attach to the pen. I am now left looking for a better quality replacement. Very disappointed. Do not buy

Nice verity of tips
This was an interesting burner the different tips are a great addition most just give you two or one. temp control was a little slow to react but this would be an excellent starter kit.

Works alright but broke after a few months
The durability issues are the botton is stuck and unable to turn on anymore after a few months with a few usage hours. Also the price you screw the different heads into is hard to get right and almost always ends up coming loose while using. Had to use pliers to tighten securely. Other wise the pen works pretty good for wood and I've used it to edit plastics
