Madison Park Aubrey Cozy Comforter Set, Faux Silk Jacquard Paisley Design - All Season Down Alternative Bedding with Cotton Bed Sheets, Bed Skirt & Toss Pillows, King Navy 12 Piece

What I really wanted was a highly colorful bedspread or comforter like I currently have on my king-size bed. But I checked every online store and every brick-and-mortar store, and NOBODY had wild and crazy and bright designs. That said, I've always loved paisley - so when I found this comfortor set and found out that it came with two sets of shams and sheets and bed skirt I was sold. When it arrived, the only surprise was that it is more navy blue and CREAM colored rather than white (although there are small areas that have white) and unfortunately, I already ordered a white headboard - which I could have ordered in cream. None of the wood tones matched my other furniture. and now the white won't match perfectly for my new bed either (my late husband and I had a Cal King adjustable bed and over 6 or so years of owning it we never really found any adjustable position that we liked (each side worked independently) and we'd always end up with a flat bed. So with my new queen size mattress which is very soft without it being memory foam whichwas too difficult for me to climb into in the night and pull myself out of in the morning - it was really exhausting. I didn't need the adjustable part and instead just bought a top of the line mattress. I originally wanted full-size but it was next to impossible to find the kind of bed I wanted in a full size - I guess they aren't popular any more plus the queen size is only a small amount more expensive. Still I'm such a small person I would have preferred a full-sized bed. Anyway - coming out of the box this comforter is super soft and so are all the shams but they do have the smell of newness which is a little overpowering. So I'm washing the sheets and the sham and possible the bedskirt - it's so nicely folded I don't think there are any wrinkles. Even though I'm far past menopause I go to bed freezing and within an hour or two I'm sweating to death so I'll likely sleep only under a sheet with a small throw blanket covering me that I can throw off as needed. I'm moving to a Senior Living Center so it's hard to say if the bedroom will run cool or warm but my current bedroom runs very warm compared to the livingroom/dining room. This looks lovely and elegant - just have to remember to take my make-up off each night so it doesn't rub on the sheets or comforter. I just will really miss my bedspread with the wild design. But it's not like I'll have a lot of visitors and I'm happy enough wit the design. I think the white headboard will work now and for future bedsets if I live long enough to need one. I also purchased a back-up set of white sheets just because stuff happens and I want a backup. My husband, bless his heart, was on 3 different blood thinners and got a huge abscess on his back - they removed the abscess but it kept bleeding and bleading. We finally thought it had stopped and bandaged the area well and by morning there was a huge blood stain on the sheets. It sort of washed out but I would never sell or give those sheets to anybody after that. He also started to have some very minor accidents, some of which left a bit of a stain. I am 10 yrs younger than he was when this stuff started happening to him but who know what the future will bring as I age. One more final comment - the comfortor and all the accessories were so neatly folded in the box I was really impressed - it was obvious they were trying to cause as few wrinkles as possible - so awesome packaging. Can't wait to move and get this on my new bed!

So pleased with this set. It doesn’t wrinkle, it’s soft on the underside of the comforter, the sheets are comfortable and the shams look nice. The comforter is the perfect weight even for summer night sleeping. Or if it’s too heavy, we just pull it back. I’ve been using it for almost two months. No sign of wear and tear. I would buy this again.

It's very light weight but is soft and comfortable and it looks beautiful on my bed.

Loved the sheets and comforter but not the pillows that was in set. I purchased the extra pillows that was a match. They are much better.

I loved the look of this comforter while shopping online. The colors are just what I need to redecorate my bedroom. I also like the paisley print. When the set arrived it was packaged in a way that was efficient and easy to handle. When I opened each package I was pleased with the appearance. I was disappointed with the quality of the sheets from the beginning but just “wanted to make it work”. So I went ahead and washed the sheets. I knew I could also buy more suitable blue sheets if I had to. I followed the enclosed instructions for fluffing the comforter and placed it atop my bed to get an idea of how it looked. And I liked “the way it looked”. I still want to make it work. Finally I removed the existing comforter, sheets, shams, etc and remade the bed with the new bedding. As I placed the shams and comforter in place I noticed that the quality of the fabric and the workmanship is very poor. On the shams there are areas where loose threads are visible. It’s almost like snags but not. The fabric in the comforter puckers in many places and the fabric just seems very cheap. Fortunately, the price was not so expensive, so I’ll just use it for a while and then replace it with something that us better quality…and not from Madison Park.

I opened the box and went to put everything on the bed. I don't usually wash new items (bad practice, I know). I had to with these. There was such a horrible chemical smell coming of the bedding.They still haven't made it on to my bed yet. I just pulled the pillows out of the wash and one of them is holding on by threads. (Long cylinder pillow). I did remove the case prior to washing, maybe I shouldn't have.There really was no way around getting the chemical smell out other than washing. It wasn't just in the blanket and sheets or pillow covers, even the included pillows smelled. I'm sitting here praying that pillow survives the dryer. The batting on the inside of both pillows have already started clumping. The bedspread was found to have a lose threads, I'm hoping it was an errant thread and bedspread isn't falling apart.This was a lot of money for and I save gift cards from my birthday and Christmas to buy this. I'm heartbroken that it may have been an epic waste of money.I can't tell you about comfortableness or anything else like that as I haven't even used them yet. I've given them two stars simply because I'm still in love with the beauty of the set via the photos included in the listing. I'm also holding out hope it what's happened so far is a fluke.If this thing falls apart in less than 6 months I'll be devastated.

It’s super soft, light weight, so elegant looking. It’s more of a Grey/Silver and black… sheets are very soft but used my dark grey sheets to bring out the silver in the comforter, I bought dark grey pillow shams to use instead of the cream color that comes with the set just for the color theme I was looking for. The only issue I have is I listened to ALL the reviews prior to my purchase and went with the King size comforter for my Queen size bed and it’s a bit too long on the sides for my liking. All the reviews people complained about it being too short and I think Queen would have fit my Queen bed perfect. All in all I absolutely love this set , I will post a pictures. Trust me it’s black and silver grey… the lighting does not show the true color.

I absolutely love the look of the set. All of the sheets fit my king size bed except the comforter. The comforter is only slightly larger then the queen sized comforter I have in my guest room. It actually measured less then then the dimensions on its tag; 101 in x 89 in (this is me generously rounding up) rather then the 105 in x 92 in that the tag states. So it doesn't hang nicely over the sides of the bed, it basically sits on top of the mattress like a toupee. Unfortunate because it looks really good.

This Madison Park set has been around for a long time. It used to be carried in Sears catalogue before they closed business. The design is great; very intricate and the colours pleasant. However the materials used are very poor. The fabric is paper thin and crushes and wrinkles very easily. Sit on the edge of the bed, leave a book on the bed, put a coat on the bed and it will wrinkle and bunch together. I hate to think of what will happen after the first wash. I expected more for $275.00. Disappointed.

I am very happy with all of the pieces and it looks beautiful. The only small issue is that it picks very easily and I’m afraid that over time it will show the wear. Other than that I love it!
