This photo is what was left of the coffee cake when I found the device. This cake holder is made of a sturdy plastic. I’m thankful for the cupcake holders for regular sized cupcakes. They seem more secure than a cupcake holder I have that is not designed this well and allows the cupcakes to fall or tilt. I like that the base can flip so one carrier can accommodate either cupcakes one base or cake, cookies or pie o the other. That’s terrific.The handles are okay but I would still support it from the bottom. I wouldn’t take the risk of the handles detaching while carrying if it’s cake, pie or cupcakes, maybe I would with cookies.I would like it more if I had better options for storage. I wish I could take the lid apart each time and store it in its low profile state. However, I understand why the design team wouldn’t want it to come apart easily. We don’t want it to come apart while we’re carrying our goodies in it either. I also wish I could store it in its box or the bag and I wish I didn’t have to place it on a shelf on the side that I place desserts on. In my opinion, I want you to consider these things related to storage when you make revisions moving forward.

This product is as advertised.This has great use for transporting and storage cupcakes and cakes anywhere. As always, you have to be careful not to make movements to incline or drastic stops that can cause the cake or cupcakes to move around the cake carrier. The quality that is used is normally what I have seen in other stores (normal groceries store), which is great quality, but the versatility of how to change different heights you don't find that in stores. Also, normally the handles don't have enough space to place your hand or feel that it is going to break any minute. This product does have enough space to have a big hand to hold this carrier and the clips feel very sturdy.One thing that we really like is that it enables us to change the configuration from a one-layer cake to a two-layer cake. Which is the standard size of height that we normally use. But if you make a 3 layer cake, it will not fit (unless the layer is thin and the overall height is 10''). You might see that it will probably fit, but you will need that clearance if you jump while driving and your car doesn't get damage.

This is a great cake carrier. The top comes in two pieces to adjust the size to carry smaller cakes and cupcakes or a larger layer cake. It’s very sturdy with the latches and easy to carry with the secure handle.

We finally replaced our cheap dollar-store cake carrier (which was scary to use) with this wonderful Lifewit cake carrier. This carrier is so much better, what an upgrade.The cake carrier clicks together easily to become taller for a two-tier cake and using just the top tier, you could also transport a pie with this carrier I would imagine. It is made of sturdy plastic which clicks together quickly and easily. It appears very durable along with its handles. This is a wonderful thing to keep around for bringing your cakes to functions and parties, or just to keep your homemade cakes fresher in the refrigerator. Highly recommended!

The cake carrier is a compact marvel, effortlessly transporting cakes with ease. Its sturdy build and secure locks ensure cakes stay intact during travel. A must-have for any baker on the go.

The dome comes in two pieces which need to be snapped together. This was an awkward process for me and took longer than it ought to take to make everything line up. Once snapped in place, it's difficult to take apart--and the instructions state that it's not made to be taken apart. Which is annoying because I was under the impression it was a space-saving device. On the plus side, there are three snaps instead of only two so the plate and dome are more securely attached. The interior space will hold a frosted 9" double layer cake, or a deep dish pie. The base can be flipped so you have your choice of cupcake holders or a flat plate--it's a nice touch depending on what you want to carry. As a cake saver, it keeps the baked goods moist and tasty for four days. (It might work longer than that, but cakes only last three or four days in my house.) I gave it four stars because found it so difficult to assemble the dome.

I always want my wife to bake a big cake, and she often responds that it's a pain because we don't have a place to put it when it's done. Haha! I saw this cake carrying case and problem solved. It is also better than the disposable paper ones, as I can freeze a cake in this container. It's also great for taking a cake to community events.
