Fun for me, annoying for my family
This accordion is seriously fun. But it’s the kind of fun best enjoyed out in the shed or when you’re the only person in the house. (To be fair, I’d say the same thing about a set bagpipes.)The accordion itself seems well-constructed for the price point. Yes, it’s all plastic, but I think it’ll hold up for some time to come. The sound it produces is mediocre—which is what you should expect from this type of low-end instrument. I call it an instrument, but it’s really more of a toy. And that’s perfectly fine! Giving musical toys to your kids is a great thing. It introduces them to music-making and is just plain fun!The bottom line: I give this accordion an enthusiastic five stars. It is a blast to noodle around on. Just don’t expect to sound like Weird Al playing it.

Fun little children’s accordion
I had no trouble getting this to work and make sounds. It sounds… kinda like an accordion! I probably have more fun with it than my son. I learned to play the ABC song without too much trouble, although I didn’t realize that accordions make a different note depending on whether you’re stretching or squeezing.Either way, this thing works, makes noise, and is a good size for a child. But an adult can use it too!

more a noisemaker than an instrument
Sorry to have to differ with my fellow vintners but this is really just a toy. Can you play notes with it? Sure, as long as you don't have a discerning ear relative to whether said notes are in tune. Further, I have an Irish concertina that it's easier to maneuver than this device, so I can't imagine a young child being willing to spend much time with it due to fatigue. Can you pick out a rudimentary tune? Sure, but most kids aren't going to have the patience for that. I expect it to be used more as a device that makes curious sounds than anything else and, frankly, I wouldn't wish that on any parent let alone a grandparent! I also don't see it as a potential bridge to gaining an interest in music.Sorry that this is a seemingly harsh review but I'm just trying to be real. Three stars, rounding up.

Expected a toy, got a real instrument!
Ok, so for the price and from the photos, I was expecting a toy. Something the kids will make some noise with but won't function like the real thing... Boy, I was wrong. This sounds good, works well. It's even in tune. So color me shocked and impressed. I know very little about actually playing one of these, having only had a very basic lesson many years ago, but you can make a real good time on this right out of the box. Pro tip, however, waking your wife up with it in the middle of the night will get you in trouble.

So cute and works!
It’s easy to pick up and learn. I did find it hard to get going at first but now it’s much easier. I seen a lot of kids on YouTube playing this one.
