My 14 lb. Terrier-Mix is a puller. I have tried several different harnesses and none of them worked, he either escaped from them or pulled harder. This Barkbay harness is amazing! Lightweight, yet strong. Nicely padded, easy to take on and off, and the reflective stitching is a huge bonus! My pup has learned that pulling gets him nowhere, and the harness is so well constructed and padded, he didn't hurt himself while learning. My only suggestion to Barkbay is to make the chest strap more easily adjustable. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to adjust it. The straps are in a loop, hidden by the padded chest piece, so you have to really finagle them to get them adjusted. The harness is well worth the effort to adjust it though. I attached some photos of it on my pup and to show the reflectivity of the stitching. I would definitely recommend this harness!

Absolutely LOVE this harness for its durability and craftsmanship! It's very well made and a great harness for its surprisingly low cost! However, I selected a large size based on the sizing chart, which would have put my pup's measurement in the middle of the large size range. While I could adjust the straps to be comfortably secured and tight around his body, the body area of the harness was still to large, so no amount of tightening the straps would do any good, and would only become too tight. I should have purchased a medium, and selected a size that put him at the top of the sizing window. After all, it's a great price so I can get another once he grows out of it! Just bummed now that I can't use this one.EDIT: BARKBAY is letting me return and exchange this for a medium, and provided a fast response and hassle-free solution!! I would recommend this product to anyone! Great experience with my order :)

I have an 80 lb, 13 yr old Yellow Lab who still likes to pull on occasion. This harness helps eliminate the pulling. She also somewhat apprehensive when walking the dog ramp when getting into my SUV. The handle on Dog Harness helps me guide her up the dog ramp. The only drawback on the product is that the material on the underside of the Harness does attracts dog hair like a magnet, and my Lab sheds terribly. I still give it a five star because it's well padded, well constructed, good price and the XL size fits my dog perfectly.

Nice harness, although it took me a while to get it sized for my 45 pound bully breed. She has a 27" chest and I had to take the chest straps to the largest size. The neck had to be smaller. I had purchased a size large first and it was way too big. I returned the large with no issues and the return shipping was free. Good customer service.

It’s hard to find a good fitting harness for a Doberman Pincher, but this one just might be the best one so far. Very well made with sturdy materials. Definitely love how I can adjust the harness at four different points to make it a great fit.

After wrestling and wrangling to get this vest to fit properly I say it is a well made vest. Our dog is 14 # and a tough little pooch that likes to pull. This vest didn't stop her in her tracks but it sure made it irritating to her to pull forward as the centered ring in the front turns her toward me when the leash is attached. We're in the middle of basic dog obedience training and she has a bit to learn. The vest is not painful or cruel. I would say that it runs fairly true to the sizing chart. Her girth is just under 17" and I ordered a small. However, we can't adjust it any smaller so if your dog has a girth smaller than 17" you might want to think about the XS. There's some give in some heavy duty elastic in the front of the neck part of the harness but not in the girth part. The straps for adjusting go through buckles like a lot of us are used to but it was a challenge to get it fitted to our liking. It's similar to other no pull harnesses with the d ring in the front and the price was less than other brands. It is well made.

I decided to get this on an Amazon flash deal. I had been waiting to get this harness to go on sale for a while and it finally happened.This harness is very sturdy and well made. Despite the fact that it isn't a "name brand", I don't think I could have done better. There are a lot of other variations of this exact harness design here on Amazon, with different brand names, but they are all essentially identical. If you are on a budget, this harness is for you.One of the things I liked about this harness the most is that when you tighten the harness to fit snugly on your dog, on the body straps there are firm stretch elastic bands near the base of the harness located on the side straps that gives your dog a comfort stretch. Not enough give to let your dog escape, but enough stretch in the firm elastic bands for the harness to fit comfortably on your dog. Very clever.One thing I don't like is the front hook. I am not so sure how this applies to every frontal hooking harness but on this particular harness, on my dog, whenever I used the front hook to train my dog not to pull, when she did, she faced me and pulled backwards, the harness would pull forward and create a pocket of loose harness in the front. I am guessing this is normal because of physics. Either way, this harness is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and buy it!

Really like this harness. I have a 25 lb Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier mix. She loves the squirrels and birds! She is just a little over a year old and I have always use the mouth harness for her. I decided it was time to switch her. It has just been a matter of adjusting it to fit right in the chest area, finally think I have it. I wish I would have gotten us a lot sooner but was waiting for her to finish growing. When hooking in front all it takes is a little tug and she immediately quits pulling, works so much better! Thank you for a great product. My only complaint is the hook on the front is metal. The hook on the back is a solid plastic, hoping it will last.

I have a 10 month old Olde English Bulldogge. I'm an active person and wanted her to accompany me during my daily bike rides. I didn't want to spend too much money but also wanted something strong so I settled on this harness.Overall, it's pretty decent for what I need it for. I did read the reviews on it before hand and tested out the front ring. Indeed it does twist when the leash is attached to there which renders using it useless and potentially dangerous. Therefore, I'm only able to hook her leash onto the back ring.She is a strong puller and weighs roughly 35lb. The stitching and material is quite solid. I can see this lasting a few years before a replacement is needed. I haven't had problems with adjusting the harness as others have said. And I've used this harness every day since it arrived so I'm not sure what that might be.Other than that, I am satisfied with my purchase.

This is a beautiful harness against my orange roan Cocker spaniel. She looks so smart and comfortable. Looks and feels like it would cost more and also appears to be well made and long lasting. Not used it out yet but it fitted well on her and the sizing is spot on also. Great item! Very pleased so far with this.

I honestly never review items but this harness is amazing! Our 5 year old labradoodle is very active and loves her walks. We’ve always had a problem with her pulling and it makes walks a lot less enjoyable. I was very sceptical about the harness actually working but as soon as we put it on her her pulling stopped instantly! We’ve used it 4 times now each on very long walks and it’s just brilliant. I really wish we’d bought this years ago!

I bought this for my 6 month old puppy. Perfect. Well padded and stretchy. Plenty of room for growth too. Thoroughly recommend.
