Great
Brought it with me on a trip to Mexico, my camera felt totally secure. It was really handy and is made of high-quality materials.

Quick access...
After some adjusting and getting it on my belt the right way, I was very happy. I shot a whole wedding for 7 hours, and never had any issues.Heavy lenses are a bit awkward. But I think it's more of a belt issue.I wish you could adjust the angle of the clip better. I find it best at a slight offset to make it more natural to grab the camera.

This does just what it says it does and even better than I expected!
When I saw this I thought “ that's an interesting idea, I wonder if it works?” Well it does and even better than I expected. I find that when I am carrying my DSLR around with me using the modified neck strap that I have worked up, I still find myself holding on to the camera because I can't stand having it bounced against my body as I move around. I don't want to tighten up the strap because that makes it harder to use it quickly when I need to. This thing is great because I can put it on the strap of a backpack if I am wearing one and easily switch it to my belt if I'm not going to be wearing a backpack. I still leave the strap attached to the camera and around my neck because when I take the camera off this clip, I don't always trust myself to not drop it. This definitely solves the problem of having the camera bouncing around against my body. It is well constructed and holds the camera very securely. It is easy to take the camera off and put it back on and I really like not having to worry about it when I'm not using the camera. In the last few years I have found myself more and more leaving the DSLR home when I go on outings and just using my phone because it is easier. With this I find myself wanting to take the DSLR along on outings again! One of the buttons has a lock on it but I find that with the added safety of having the strap on the camera and this thing holding so securely even when it isn't locked I feel like I don't really need to use the lock. It is one less step to take when removing the camera. I really like this a lot! I'm glad I got it and I think you should get one too!To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

As Easy As A Holster — Only More Secure
I've always wanted a nice quick method for grabbing my camera for a shot other than via a neck strap. All that is needed to use this device is a pair of slacks with a good belt threaded through the loops. This camera clip is hinged via two easy-to-operate thumbscrews. Once opened, the camera clip back plate slides under the belt. It's easiest to attach the clip before buckling your belt. The top plate is then clamped together with the bottom plate and tightened via the thumbscrews. An adapter plate is mounted to the tripod mounting socket on the camera, which allows the camera to securely attach to a spring-loaded receiver on the camera clip. I've found it easiest to use mounted on my non-dominant side. I'm right-handed, so mounting on my left hip worked best. There are no instructions included with this item but it is quite easy to figure out. All in all, a great little way to securely carry your camera on the go. It does not release unintentionally when securely fastened and locked into the receiver. Just don't forget to remove your camera before removing your pants!

Works well!
Overall I would say this works well and is very well made. My only issues with this is that it has a proprietary plate. I go from handheld to tripod a lot and this plate will not work on a tripod and therefore I cant really use it in my shoots that I would like to use it in, without having to switch plates. I am only deducting 1 star for this problem. If that isnt a problem then I think you would be happy with the stability of this product.

I didn’t know I needed this, but I did!
I am a hobby photographer and love travel photography. When I’m doing a lot of shooting, I always have a camera with a long lens around my neck and another with a short lens in my bag. It sometimes gets awkward to switch, and I’ve definitely missed some good shots getting the second camera out. This solved the problem. Now I can keep the kit lens camera on my belt with the long lens around my next. They’re both accessible all the time!

Great option for more than just cameras
This camera clip is can be mounted to a backpack strap, crossbody strap or belt and holds firmly in place. It even holds my larger Nikon Z8 as well as any of my other smaller Sony, Nikon, and Fujifilm bodies. The quick release plate makes it a much more convenient carrying option so that you can quickly remove to get the shot you want.I also like to use this for mounting my Atomos Ninja V when i want to capture my EVF for content. I attach a swivel bracket to the quick release plate and then mount my recorder to it and this allows me to keep the weight down on my camera. The locking plate is very secure and the screws are of good quality to last a long time.
