Highly Recommended!!!
I just reorganized my home studio and I needed a pair of speaker stands for Tannoy speaker wish I love, without having to pay $200+ this worked great! You won't regretted. Very stable aluminum lightweight and can hold up over 50lbs. And I think I could use them for my PA Speakers too... Great pirce!

Wow
Pros is this is the best $58 that you can possibly spend on speaker stands. It already comes put together. All you got to do is put the top plate on it that the speaker sits on. It's got this slick resistant padding on it and it does work. All you got to do is measure it out. It is absolutely a phenomenal. I have spent three times as much money on speaker stands and nowhere near as good and sturdy as these are

High quality. Great price.
Exceeded expectations. Expandable base makes the stands very stable.

Decent solution for a small Combo PA amplifier for small venues
USE:I bought these as an experiment to try and get my AER Compact 60 combo amplifier (which lacks an external mount) elevated to about 48 inches to use at wineries and quieter venues, where they don't want the volume of a full PA system. (I'm a singer songwriter).I extend the center tube to about 3/4 of its length, which gives a platform height of about 48 inches.I extend the legs to a medium footprint of about 28 inches. I don't think the stand would be stable if it were any narrower. One might get by narrower with a tiny home or rear surround type speaker- such as a Bose or similar Satellite etc. less than 10 lb.CONSTRUCTION/BUILD QUALITY:The construction is decent 6/10 but would not call it very good, great, or "Pro-Level, as the tubing is not heavy like the Proline, Hercules, and other stands. These stands are hard to open, as the struts stick and you have to work them back and forth a bit to open the legs without breaking the struts. I do not think they would withstand being carted around with heavy gear. The plastic bumper feet on the tube bottoms look like they will get brittle and crack in time. They claim they are rubber, I beg to differ. They are not very grabby. I'll replace them with proper rubber or silicone ones later.SAFETY:They provide safety pins with guide holes in the extension tubes, which is a nice touch, in case the collars become loose or fail (I'd hate to see them fail with an 80 lb. load).LOAD CAPACITY AND STABILITY:The product info claims the load capacity is 80 lb. I would not risk that heavy of a free standing load on such a small platform. (8.6" x 9.2"). My Combo amp weighs about 15.6 lb. (Note that these stands are for free standing speakers, and there are no extra holes where a speaker could be secured to the stand.)Additionally, they have added a nice esthetic to the platforms by knurling the edges down and countersinking the hole where they bolt to the extension pole.ACTUAL PERFORMANCE ON VARIED SURFACES:The stands were stable indoors on a level cement floor, but less so outdoors on grass that was slightly uneven. I think these would function best on wood floors, or on indoor/outdoor carpet, or a wooden platform outside, but not on typical household carpet. I found them to be tippy on my medium-length indoor carpet.REMEDY TO SMALL PLATFORM:I built my own larger plywood platform (14.5 x 13.0 in. and used a longer bolt to secure it to the stand. I did not trust the smaller included platform, with its red craft-type foam anti-slip pad. It doesn't seem to be rubber, silicone or other sturdy material. They make a big deal about this in their promo claiming the pad makes your monitors safe. Placing the stands with your monitors or speakers out of the way of small children, pets, boisterous older kids and adults will likely do much more to ensure safety. (lol)The poles are each hollow at the top with a recessed welded plug that is threaded for the attachment bolt. This point of contact seems to offer some stability as it's a bit more than an inch in diameter, and the center bolt secures the platform well to the pole. The included allen wrench does the job for assembling, but does not look like it was meant for regular use.PORTABILITY:They also claim these stands are easy to carry around and are very portable. I beg to differ. They are ungainly when folded and are easily dropped due to the funky weight distribution. They state that these stands are great for professional applications- They could be functional for very light use (less than 30 lb.), IF a proper zippered padded bag was included.VALUE:With most PA gear etc. you often get what you pay for, unless the item is on sale. I think these stands are a bit over-priced for what they are. My Proline stands, which are taller, heavier, much sturdier, and open much more easily, are true professional quality and came with a padded bag. They were $89 last year. All in all they do the job for elevating a 15 lb. speaker up out of the way, but the lack of an included zippered bag, the difficulty in opening and closing the legs, the concern about breaking the struts if too much force is used trying to open or close the stands, and lighter gauge metal poles with medium quality tightening fittings render these stands best as light weight home use under stable conditions.I don't think that these stands are strong or durable enough for professional use with repeated setup and teardown as seller claimed. Additionally, the open ends at the top of each pole without plugs are a potential liability if one tries to mount a traditional powered PA speaker such as a JBL or QSC that have internal sleeve mounts in each speaker that fit over the pole.If a padded zippered bag were included, the $60+ price tag would garner one more star for value.

Nice but Missing Screw
These stands seem to be well built works perfect. But, one stand was missing a screw, and I've searched for a way to contact the seller, and so far, I haven't found any. Otherwise, I would have given five stars instead of four stars.

Fantastic
These are very solid sturdy speaker stands with an excellent bold quality and a professional looking finish. Well I’m not a fan of the red pads, I can get over it. I just wish they were black. These things are extremely well-made and sturdy with each leg double strut reinforced and the height pole is not dependent on friction there is a safety pin that ensures the stand will not slip down .The non-stick feet on the legs are also very well done. This is not a complicated thing to do but it’s surprising how many manufacturers cheap out on the components or the design. This one did not. These are excellent.

strong stands
Very nice and strong stands. The speaker plates/mounts on the tops are connected with a single screw that does a great job of holding them in place. The legs are strong and make them very stable. I only have them holding up some smaller bookshelf monitor speakers, be they work well with them. They will easily hold my larger stage speakers without any issues. Very nice and overall would get them again.
