Good camera. Great Company!
I've had this camera for about a week and a half on my new BlueIris setup. I've been playing around with it some, with it sitting on the shelf, and finally put it up. The daytime picture is perfect. Crisp and clear. No problems with the alarms or anything. I had a problem with the nighttime picture though. I have an outside light that I leave on, specifically so my infrared leds don't have to come on. In Alabama, you have bugs, spiders, pollen and all sorts of things that will interfere with the picture if your infrared is on. I've had birds and bats going after the bugs in front of my cameras. Even a tree frog right on the lense. The pollen can be comparable to a snowstorm with infrared, but on a nightly basis, for 3 seasons. Without these interferences, the night time picture is pretty good. They just don't happen all that often here. I couldn't get it to shut off the infrared. I asked a question through Amazon and he replied (on a Saturday night) within a couple of hours. I waited for their store to open and sent an email on Monday and these guys are on top of it! Fast response! I sent him a screenshot of the settings I had. He sent me a screenshot of the settings I needed to try when I got home. I did that to no avail. Shot him an email at 7:30pm and he called, remoted into my computer and TOOK THE TIME TO FIGURE IT OUT! I literally just got off a half hour long conversation on the phone with him (8:30pm)... over a $69 camera. Yeah, I'll end buying the upgraded version (He sent me a night shot of it and it looks amazing, should be well worth the extra $40 for my purposes) and moving this one to a different spot. Don't get me wrong, this product is WELL WORTH the money. But the support you get, is WORTH SO MUCH MORE!

Tech Support
I was having issues with setting up the camera. I called Real HD Store tech support and spoke to Jay. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He helps me set up the camera and advised me on what to get to fulfill my future needs. Very impressed with Jay's level of service.

Solid camera hardware with less-than-ideal software makes for a mixed bag.
Like a lot of rebranded Chinese cameras available today, this appears to be a high-quality piece of hardware with a very specific feature set mated to a "one-size-fits-all" style software solution, and the results may be challenging/frustrating for someone wanting or expecting a plug-and-play experience. For reference, I'm putting together a software-based NVR system in my home using a mixed group of PoE/IP cameras on a local network using a dedicated PC. If you have a dedicated Hikvision NVR system, your results may be entirely different.Physical construction seems reasonably robust, and on-par with other similar cameras in this price range. Because this camera has no PTZ controls and ships with the lens group pointed straight down, the only way to adjust the angle/direction of the lens is to unscrew (with a specialized screwdriver) and remove the top cover and manually adjust the angle of the lens. There are some diagrams in one of the included booklets that illustrate how to accomplish this. Given that I'll be up on a ladder mounting this thing on the side of my house, knowing that it's going to likely take me at least several rounds of that whole procedure to get the angle dialed in properly isn't exactly something I'm looking forward to (but that's why PTZ cameras are popular!)I plugged this into my network and my IP scanner picked it up easily. Creating a password and logging in was easy enough (although I *REALLY* don't appreciate the apparently optional popup that asked for my email along with answers to some of the most common security questions... seems like a great way to get hacked/ID stolen).I was not able to get the Live View to work in my browser, but it popped up immediately in VLC media player when I logged in with RSTP on the correct port. There's a button in the top bar that says "Download Plugin" that downloads some kind of software package from somewhere (could be safe, could be unsafe, who knows), but it's Windows only and so I couldn't use it on my system anyways. There are numerous controls on the main page for things like PTZ and on-camera lights that don't exist on this model of camera, so those controls don't work.On the other hand, digging into the Configuration menu allowed me to access and modify a huge range of important parameters, everything from the name of the camera, main and sub streams, resolution settings, bitrate, video quality, frame rate, compression/encoding settings, frame intervals, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, white balance (!!!) and some rather functional digital noise reduction. I found all these settings to be useful and functional. There appear to be other, more advanced settings (events, area setup, masking, notifications and local storage) that I haven't had a chance to dig into yet.Bottom line is, this appears to be a very well-made and capable piece of camera hardware, and seems like an excellent choice and value for someone who has the knowledge, desire, and time to get down into the nitty gritty details/settings and implement and adjust it properly until it works for their needs. For someone who's wanting something that just plugs in and works automatically out of the box, this one might be a bit of a challenge and a learning experience.

Not a good camera or company
On the Amazon web site Real HD claims to provide local support but I could not find the contact information for support anywhere on Amazon or by even Googling it. I started having my doubts when the QR code for activation of the device sent me to a dead link.My issue with the camera is that the option for h.264 is unavailable. The camera is stuck on h.265. I have spent too much time on setting this up. I will be sending it back.

Great other then at night
The night time is where the issue starts to arise. The ir lights are inside the dome, so as they go on the picture washes out. Luckily I have overlapping cameras and turning off the IR on this camera and using the light from the others. Other then that it was an easy setup with Blue Iris software.
