Got for my middle child. She loves drawing and goes through pencils like crazy. She’s broken many sharpeners, and so far this is the only one that has lasted more than two months. She recharges it occasionally and it is in use daily, so the battery must be great! She also uses it while at school as well. No complaints from teachers about it being noisy, and I barely hear it from the next room. She empties it out regularly and the tray is in and out quickly, so cleaning isn’t an issue.

It charges up real well and fast and no annoying plug in cords.What I like the most is that I have bought a large plastic body pencil with heavy duty lead. I simply extend the lead piece a cople inches and out it in the sharpener. It comes out fast and sharp; no messy wood havings. The top comes off easily and I can dup only the graphite powder into my trash can. Great buy.

Claims to sharpen blunt to sharp. As with all this junk from China (electric sharpeners now) this is a lie. You get ultra sharp no matter what setting you choose. Additionally, this sharpener leaves score marks on the side of the lead, so you cannot use sideways for shading!
