Well, my fellow amateur and professional photographers... If you are finding a product to cover your Canon camera hot shoe mount from dust and debris, you are looking for the right product. Because all of Canon's hot shoes are the same, this cover should work on every Canon camera. I tested with the hot shoe on Canon 5D Mark IV, 6D Mark II, 2000D (T7), and 4000D(T100).As a loyal fan of JCC's "plastic" camera accessories, this hot shoe cover looked, felt, and worked as premium as any JCC camera lens hood. Because of the amount of money you have paid for two tiny pieces of plastic, you should be expected to see those things look premium. I know those are not precisely called plastic, don't correct me, please :)However, hear me out, photographers; it is optional for you to cover your camera's hot shoe mount from dust. Most cameras' hot shoes can not be easily dirty or broken. You can always clean them if necessary. This review can be a sign for you to rethink about buying this product and invest your $6 into purchasing your next camera lens in the future. I personally did not benefit much from buying this hot shoe cover for my Canon cameras. Buying this product only made me feel like I had something to brag about with my other Canon friends and get closer to the Sony users.
