Three Month Report All is Good
After three months of use I am happy to report that the rice cooker is performing well. We have put it through its paces on a daily basis with no issues to report. The only drawback to report which really is not a deal breaker is the steam that collects on the inside of the lid drips into a slot around the inside of the cooker when the lid is opened. You have to wipe it out with a paper towel to keep it from overflowing onto the outside of the cooker. At this stage of ownership, I definitely recommend his Rice Cooker. Note for Jasmine Rice the ratio is rinse the rice and drain the water. Then add 1 and 1/3 cup of water per 1 cup of rice. Im using the standard 8 oz cup measurement. Use 1/1/2 cup water to one cup of rice if the rice has not been rinsed. Other brands of rise use basically the same measurement, but you may need to adjust the amount of water a little for meet your desires. The cooker takes 20 minutes to make 1 cup of rice which is more than plenty for 2 to 3 people.

Amazing rice!!! I wouldn't do more than 4 cups
I used this rice cooker for the first time last night, and I'm very happy with the quality of the rice it cooked. Our long grain white rice was transformed into tender, delicious sticky rice in under an hour. It was so perfect I ate it on its own and had my main dish separately!I have a few minor complaints about the machine's operation. I cooked four cups with the recommended six cups of water, and the steam vent spewed starchy water during cooking. I'm not sure how the six cup claim can be remotely accurate unless you're ok with a starchy geyser! I wouldn't personally cook more than four cups again, and that even seems to be a stretch. To be clear, all rice cookers spew steam, that's how they work! But this one made a real mess even below the advertised maximum quantity. I was particularly concerned because the rivulet of starch goo ran down the back of the machine near (but not on) the power cord. It just seems impossible that a six cup batch would be safe to prepare in this machine. The parts cleaned up nicely in the dishwasher, and the interior of the cooking pot is nicely non-stick. Even after leaving the rice to "keep warm" for a few minutes before removing it, I didn't get a crispy bottom on the batch. I know that is some people's favorite thing, but it's not our preference. Overall I'm happy with the quality of this machine and look forward to testing its other settings. I wouldn't recommend this for large batches, but otherwise it works a treat.

Makes great rice, fully programmable
This is a very nice looking rice cooker. I like the window on top, so you can see the rice. Our family enjoys eating many different types of rice and this makes it easy to prepare. There are different pre set buttons for different types of rice. Each setting cooks the rice to perfection. The rice cooker is also easy to clean. I like that it includes a steamer basket as well. I have used it to steam dumplings and veggies and they turned out great.

Easy
A much cleaner and convenient alternative to cooking rice on a stove top. No matter what, I would always make a mess when cooking rice on my stovetop. Water would get everywhere. This is much more convenient and it’s pretty much set it and forget it. No more having to watch and make sure it boils over. Cooks rice perfectly everytime. Highly recommend this rice cooker.
