Great germination rate, even in less than optimal condidtions
While I wouldn't vouch for there being a full 30,000 seeds in the packet, I will say you're likely to be VERY happy with the germination rate—even to the point that you won't care about how many seeds there actually are. I haven't planted all of mine yet. I did a couple of test patches to see what I could expect when my plans were ready. The fist was in a planter next to an AeroGarden I have. I was shocked when seedlings started popping up after only a week, with more and more each day. I actually wish I'd been more conservative in my planting as I've horribly overcrowded them in an effort to plan for duds (not convinced any were duds, haha). My other test patch was outside with ZERO soil prep (again, was testing to see what I could get away with). I mixed the seeds with soil to help with the spreading then scattered it over a small area by hand, finishing by lightly tamping down with my foot (did not water). I live in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. As you may have heard, we've had a looong time of drought finally let up with a very oddly wet winter this year. That said, the soil was essentially solid. Even so, planting them between rain yielded basically the same results as inside in the areas that got the recommended amount of sunlight (the rest I sowed in an area that won't get the ideal amount of light for another month or so...don't ask me why, I don't know). Unfortunately, as I may or may not have put down the seeds without telling anyone to inform our landscaping company (live in a condo) they have since, to my expected heartbreak, been raked up. Still, for them to have done as well as they did in the environment I placed them in was shocking to me. Give them their ideal conditions and you will NOT be disappointed.

They're great!
I LOVE this mix. We planted the seeds in a deep planter on our balcony in early spring (south-facing, about half/half direct sun and shade) and didn't have very high expectations -- I have a pretty black thumb but I figured wildflowers are pretty tough. They germinated, sprouted, and grew very quickly, and I ended up having to thin them out significantly. I then killed about another 2/3 half of them by overwatering, but the remainder are growing strong. It's now about 3 months after planting, and I have gotten an absolutely GORGEOUS mix of cornflowers, snapdragons, and other delights. The pack of seeds is huge, so the rest are in my freezer for further planting next year. Highly recommend!

Smaller package than I expected
I just got the seeds today and will update this review if/when they germinate.I will say, like others have, the package was smaller than I expected. The amount of seeds was a lot less than I pictured for 30,000 seeds.. the seeds only took up the very bottom of the packet and the packet was the dimensions of like a small paperback book. We will see what happens. Hopefully I get 30,000 plants but I'm not counting on it just yet.

All sprouted!
I have a patch of "lawn" in my yard that is more red clay than anything and seriously weeds don't even grow there. But, I added a 1/2 ton of horse manure and then mixed up these wild flower seeds with some sand and sprinkled them over the manure (it was aged) and almost all of the seeds have come up. It's only been 2 weeks so I have no flowers yet but as far as I can see they've all sprouted and I'm hoping for a nice area in my yard that is unsightly to become a nice relaxing area filled with beautiful flowers.

I planted these about 2 mon ago and they are now starting to bloom a little. Lush green filled the area. Can’t waot to see all the flowers bloom. For my hummingbirds! Updated review... no flowers have shown up but these super tiny white daisy type ones. So disappointed Everything grew huge but nothing flowered!

Love
Super impressed with these seeds. We planted them in May and by the beginning of July an acre was covered. We did them in front of our sunflowers and we have every kind on the package.

Smaller than imagined, but more then enough
For some reason I pictured 30,000 being a gallon bag, but it only needed to be a quart. It was the perfect amount. I used the seeds as wedding favors. In a small pouch I gave heaping 1/8 teaspoon fulls (as suggested by another review). I made 200 packets and still had a half of a handful of seeds left over. I plan on planting these in my own yard.I loved the instructions that came along with the bags of seeds (abbreviated them and put them on my mini packets). I also liked that they included what the seeds could potentially be - I made a decorative list to display near the packets.

Properly labeling
I was not happy with the seeds I received. The ones I ordered it said they would be individualized so you knew what you had.I received a bag with all flower seeds dumped together.I won’t order from that company again and will not recommend to anyone !
