surprisingly well built and very handy.
This thing has already paid for itself. it's not super-fast and takes some arm strength but the crimps look just as good as the lines I've had made at the local hydraulic shop. There is a bit of learning to it, and I suggest you plan to have a couple practice hoses maybe out of some scraps or old used lines just to get the hang of it.

Good crimper needs better instructions
Needs better instructions in English. I wish I could tell how much pressure for different hoses. Could you please put up a photo in the listing how much pressure for various size hoses and fittings. We have used it successfully for crimping battery cables.

The box was great but the crimper was broken not sure why or what needs to happen
It was broke I am returning

Not very strong
It gets the job done, but the overall quality is not what I was expecting. The metal parts/covers are very thin and bend really easily. I would not buy it again if I needed another unit.

Needed adjustment and mod
1) The light would not work. I had to modify the bracket by filing a notch in it so it could swing over in line with the adjusting nut.2) the adjusting nut was set wrong, after switch was aligned it only lit when turned in to the last setting and crimper was fully compressed. I had to adjust it out about 1/2 inch to get it to light thru the whole range.3) either the pressure gage is broken or a relief valve i have not found is set low. I never build any pressure.I can crimp now, but i am not sure it is right.4) i now have to mage gage blocks to know where to set the adjustment screw for 4 different diameters. I would return but i need it to crimp hoses, which it does. It is just a pain to have to repair and make calibration rods.

Works but packing was a problem
Expensive but does the job, big complaint is that all the die's are packed into the little drawer and took over an hour using a pick to get them positioned so that the drawer could be opened. Almost gave up and sent it back.
