Good for beginners
This is a bad ass telescope! Really surprised at it's capabilities with how small it is. Love it. Great telescope for the money and a good one to start with beginners. I've been able to see nebulas,planets,star clusters,and the top secret construction being done on the moon with this telescope.

Appears to be good telescope for price
Should work as intended. The primary mirror arrived flawed with small nicks or dust.Another caveat, although this telescope is priced good, the business who was selling them is no longer active (Decouvir and Horox), so if purchasing be aware there is no method to contact the manufacturer and the warranty will be 30 days with Amazon. Amazon could not find their contact information either.I will update if I find the telescope does not work as I expected or the primary mirror is too flawed to view objects without a problem.

Very good
This is a beautiful telescope… unfortunately I had to return it because I needed a bigger aperture but the packaging was absolutely beautiful and it looks like a very well made piece of equipment.

Tripod flimsy
Shakes way too much even with all legs stabilized just can't get a clear image without the legs trembling so much, even with light wind. Maybe I got a defected one but that was my experience. When I did get a stable image the lens was very clear and easy to adjust. Kids loved it when it wasn't shaking.

Nice first telescope for an amateur (and my kids) like me
This is a surprisingly nice telescope. I'm a TOTAL amateur and got this for my kids. So the minus-1 star may well be down to user error. However I have two gripes:1. The eye-finder scope target and the main lens don't exactly line up2. The eye-piece lens itself doesn't secure very properly and can fall outAll in all, I'm quite impressed and happy with it. I'm just such a newbie that I'm not sure what it SHOULD be like either.

Excellent telescope at this price, impressive image quality on astronomy and wildlife watching
A great telescopes for adults astronomy, happy with the Saturn and Jupiter observation (even better in naked eyes than what I took with the phone). The best part is wild life watching as it really pull animals close to your with sharp images. I'm happy with the value from this telescope purchase, typically I would expecting $500+ if I'm buying a telescope in Maksutov design from Celestron like the one I have at 127mm with them.

Tiny but mighty fun travel telescope
Overall: Tiny but mighty fun travel telescope.(Photo to show actual size with water bottle and soda can. Mirror body is 22cm, total length with mirror focus knobs is 29cm)Pros: unpack and setup takes 3 minutes, phone attachment solid and definitely will hold most phones - adaptor expands up to 9cm(3.5”) wide with vertical slide screw adjust for camera offset; trigger handle with clutch release easy to adjust towards point of interest, tripod solid.Cons: focus knob not labeled and turns clockwise / counterclockwise not intuitive like push / pull knobs; phone attachment not easy to align for full frame photos; no case for storage.Definitely would suggest a pelican case or camera sling bag to complement this telescope.Product specs: Body - 10x10x29cm(mirror body 22cm + focus knob housing 7cm); finderscope - 15x5x5cm (6x10x15cm when right angle arm attached); diagonal mirror - 9x9x5cm; tripod - 13x13x43cm; gimbal - 20x16x8cm; tripod with gimbal attached - 16x16x52cm;
