This may not be the perfect solution for everyone's desk, but it really fits my needs. There's a place in my office where "all cords come together", sort of like a freeway interchange. What a mess around my desk area. Well, I solved all the unsightly cords behind open desk back with a fabric panel (that looks great), and got all the cords corraled by this one unit, that actually sits on top of my desk at the very back edge. It's very useful and I don't have to go digging around in the back of my desk on the floor to plug or unplug cords now. That's getting a bit harder now that I'm in my late 70's so this was really necessary and wonderful. I still have expansion room as I have 6 plug-ins used right now, and two of the usb ports are in constant use as well; one for my phone charger and the other for a speaker on my desk. Still plenty of both kinds of ports available. I'm good for the rest of my life, probably! It's also not terribly unsightly as my desk is black and the printer right beside the charger is black so it blends right in, if that's important. What WAS important to me was not so much its appearance, as its functionality. There are many units "out there" that function similarly, offering creative solutions to a real problem. This one just seemed to fit the bill for me. I really liked the fact that it screws onto the edge of my desk; doesn't require holes to be made in my desktop. And it's very sturdy!

this was perfect for my specific situation where I have a lot of devices and not enough outlets. now I have room to grow if needed. it has outlets on the front and back. however not everyones situation would call for something like this and this is not going to fit everywhere.

This product is made of durable metal materials unlike most power strip that are made of plastic. The desk clamp secures the power strip on top of the desk for easy access which eliminates the need to get to the wall outlets. Having (12) electrical outlets on top of your desk provides easy access for more electronic equipment than most power strips. The On/Off switch & surge protection are a plus. Having (4) Type A USB, and (4) Type C ports is a game changer which eliminates the need for adaptors which many people lose or misplace. The design and spacing between the outlets is better suited for oversized electrical plugs that often take up two outlets on most power strips. This product is also available in 3ft, 6ft, and 10ft heavy duty power cord configuration. Overall, this product is a well made, well designed, reasonably priced solution for any office application.

I wanted to give this strip 5 stars becaause it does everything it claims to do but it has a few flaws. First a strip this long needs two clamps. One can not keep it from twisting. Also two of the usb recepticles are colored white and two are blue. I assume this means there is something different about them but no explanation is provided.Also , The lip on my table is only 1 1/2 inch wide which is ample for the clamp pad but the table has solid sides and therefore the knob is very close to the side. this makes it hard to get a grip on the roundish knob. A T-shaped knob or a sliding bar would be easier to tighten. Lastly, (and this is true of virtually all clamp strips) the clamp is not revesable. If the cord happens to face in the direction away from the recepticle, there is a strain on the cord which could pull the strip off the table. I think instead of welding the clamp to the body, it would be better to attach it with machine screws so it could be reversed.

I LOVE this plug bar. Its so versatile. There are outlets on either side. the spacing for each outlet is so roomy that you can actually plug two things in next to each other. And I love the USB and USB-C ports that sit on both sides of the main outlets on top.

I liked the idea of mounting the power strip under my desk, the bracket worked great and held strong. The main issue i had was as soon as I powered the strip on from out of the box, it arc flashed from one of the outlets. For me that is a huge safety/fire concern. I have since returned the item. That level of quality control just can't be accepted when it comes to electricity.
