Not quite as expected
It’s not a single tube crafted out of carbon fiber, imagine it’s a 1/2 strip of carbon fiber that is rolled around itself all the way up making a tube…… the hardware is quite nice though the tensioners and rubber cap

Aluminum locking mechanism
My big question was if the locking twist-screw mechanisms would be plastic or aluminum. They are aluminum! Great!!! Poles are super lightweight (looks like carbon fiber), sturdy, and the only ones I could find that collapse to about 24". Very happy with this purchase. Hope that helps.

Missing parts
Want to love these, but it only came with one pole tip cover.

Rubber tip cover missing
The package came slightly open, with only single rubber tip cover instead of two, which is essential part for the assembly
