This set reminded me of the lego Technic sets that my son and i used to build. Very detailed but not too much so that it makes it hard to build. My grandson at six years old is really into remote control vehicles. Anything that moves by the push of a button he loves. Although he could have built this on his own it would have taken probably 4 hours at a guess but he was so anxious to play with it my son and I gave him a hand helping him with a general idea of what the part was he was holding on to, what it did or was used or and a general idea of what area it would probably go. Not only did he have fun but he really learned a lot about how a real race car is built. We had a blast but the real fun came after it was all put together and he started driving it. The app is cool and makes it fun to try different driving techniques. This company has a lot of other STEM toys that we are anxious to get for him but for now he is thrilled with this one. Even after a week he is still playing with it and that says a lot. Overall, I would say this is one of the best valued toys I have purchased for him. Most everything else gets about fifteen minutes of his time and shoved in to the toybox. HIGHLY reccommend this for kids six to sixty.

It was fun to build with my son and was the gateway to him wanting to build cars. It was simple yet challenging enough to keep his interest.

My son loves cars, especially race cars. I bought him this one and I didn’t realise that its one of those that you would have to put together. This game kept him very very busy, he spent so much time putting it together and he definitely liked that. I also think it is good for the price and to keep your child busy and not spend so much screen time. It came in its package and not missing any of the pieces. I like this purchase !

My 6 year old grandson enjoyed constructing this. It was a bit challenging, but that's a good thing. Children need to be challenged in order to learn. I'd highly recommend.

This is such an amazing remote control car! It is so cool to that you get to build it and then play with it. This was the perfect toy for my nephew that loves legos! The car also transforms which is extra cool!

We checked several times to make sure we didn't misplace any pieces. Not only were we missing one but two fender pieces! My son was highly upset and said we should've known better with these "knock-off" Legos. He also said the pieces are hard to fit together.

I bought this for my younger brother, who is eight. While I did snap the plastics out of their shipping and trimmed them with flush cutters, my little brother had little problems understanding and following the instructions. Due to the time that I bought it, the sun wasn't at quite a high angle so I had to take a little bit away from the house to get it to operate. Once it started working, though, it definitely worked! If you're having issues with the included solar panel, you can always attach the leads to a AAA battery and get the motor working without much issue.
