I have brown skin and have tried a bunch of non-toxic daily facial sunscreens. All leave a whitecast or shine. The Solara one does not. It has a very light layer that blends in well and after 5 minutes there is no whitecast.I like that is is mineral-based which means its safe for you and for the oceans. It could be priced better, but I'll spend more for something high quality. I wish they had a bigger option at a lower price point per oz.

I’ve been trying to replace products in my home with less toxic versions and identify this from the EWG website as a good option. It is so great that my 21-year-old tried it over the holiday and promptly stole it and took it back to Texas with her.

I normally go for a tinted mineral sunscreen to protect against blue light too, but sometimes I wanna feel like I have a more bare face. This sunscreen is great cuz it doesn’t leave a white cast (I’m really pale so it might on others). I like that it doesn’t have butyloctyl salicylate in it and it has sunflower sprout extract in it.

When first using this product you'll notice it as a weird texture. Almost like the product is pilling up, but I pushed through.I immediately noticed I got a pretty white cast on my face despite rubbing it in a lot. The good news is that most of it subsized when I allowed it to sit on my face for a little, but keep in mind there is still a slight white cast left behind.I applied my foundation, blush, bronzer routine and I noticed there was no additional oiliness which is usually what I face with facial sunscreen.I am already oily, so I hate products that make the problem worst. So that was a big win.At the end of the night, my makeup still looked decent. I usually have to touch up with powder several times a day bc of my shine, but there was nothing out of the ordinary!Overall I like it. There's no scent, it's nothing fancy, it's just good old facial sunscreen that doesn't mess with your makeup texture.

This is the best on the make up SPF mineral without burning your eyes !!
