BigmeB751C Color Ebook Reader 7 Inch E-Ink Paper Tablet for Notes Taking, Reading and Writing (Case and Stylus Included)

I have had a kindle for more than 15 years but finally decided to ditch it because I bought this Bigme reader which is much more versatile and gives me much freedom in reading a variety of formats and sources. So goodbye to kindle.

There is a learning curve to this device and there is very little support or advice on the web anywhere. Each step where I thought, “maybe I’ll return this” I managed to solve my problem and move forward. Sometimes the problem was the limitation of the app (Barnes and Noble Nook). The BigMe 571 c is nowhere near as intuitive as my KindleScribe, Colorsoft, Paperwhite 12 Signature Edition., or iPad mini 6. I’ve played with it for 3 days now and am satisfied I can use it as a note-taking / reading tool. It will hold me over until we see a KindleColorsoft - KindleScribe 7-8” hybrid.

I ended up returning and bought a Onix tab mini c I don't know the software on this one just wasn't very intuitive and I really don't like the wider bezel on the right but I suppose if you're only using it for reading that would make sense

I was not happy with this product. There was no color on the screen. The screen looked transparent. I could see images below like something was under the home screen. I tried to open the Kindle and Play Store but neither would open. It would just spin. I reset it like 4 times and was still unable to connect to anything. I reached out to get support and was told the issues I was having was common and they processed a refund for the device without asking me.Overall I was very exicted about getiing this device. I reseached it for several weeks. I wanted something other than the Kindle but I guess I wIll have to stick with Kindle.

This is my first e-reader and I was looking for affordable. The screen well as expected is an e-reader screen the battery is mid decent but it’s alright just plug it in really if not a portable charger the stylus is not my favorite but the brightness around 50 on brightness is good just need to adjust to your liking that’s all but a grate purchase for me I’m only just going to use it for reading for the most part but it’s really goodUpdate after software update the battery is good and also while going out with the device with the WiFi connection is nice go to a coffee shop and read and for the brightness and it can connect to your hotspot on your phone didn’t really brighten up the screen all depends where you are with sunlight its light and easy to carry but I couldn’t fit my pocket but fits in my hoodie well great purchase for me I only used it for my reading but for watching moves it’s eh but besides that it’s really good but I wish that while going on different devices the buttons don’t work I don’t know if it just me or not but I have to go to setting and do buttons on pages on using the buttons on volume or turn them to dpad left or right there is no problems with the screen and I have not drop it so all good but to tell you I did not use the pen at all it’s in my drawer collecting dust but I wish there were other cases instead of the boring black color that included love it really much

Lo devolví, prefiero gastar un poco mas y obtener una mejor experiencia, luego de dos días de uso puedo decir que: Para escribir notas no es lo mejor pues su pantalla es muy lisa y la caligrafía queda bastante fea.Probé algunas plantillas preinstaladas en la aplicación de notas y en algunas áreas no se podía escribir (en alguna plantilla, no en todas). La funcionalidad de OCR no es muy precisa, no reconoce los espacios entre palabras. Al cambia de orientación la pantalla la aplicación de notas no gira. Como la experiencia no fue muy satisfactoria en la aplicacion de notas me pase a OneNote de MS, pero allí la experiencia fue peor, esta aplicación creería que no esta hecha para estos dispositivos. Descargue la aplicación Bigme cloud en mi teléfono pero nunca la pude usar me pedía un código que nunca supe de donde obtenerlo, a pesar de haber creado la cuenta en Bigme. Tampoco pude crear una contraseña para el acceso al dispositivo por la razón anteriormente explicada. Probé el navegador que viene preinstalado, pero cuando me registre con mi cuenta de gmail, me decía que cambiara de navegador ya que este era inseguro. En lo único que me pareció útil fue en la lectura de pdf`s y paginas web. Me decepciono, cuando lo desempaque de su caja muy bonita y cuidadosamente empacado, pensé: UUUaaauu, de entrada se ve genial, pero otra cosa es encenderlo y tratar de usarlo.
